We are a family of 4 living in Doha - two older teenage children (17 & 19.) We stayed at the Dunes so that we could walk to the corniche to watch the Nationnal Day festivities and not have to brave te traffic. It was perfect. -

The hotel is located close to the City Centre Mall. Very large relaxing
3 bed suites especially with young kids where you need room to yourself.
Very reasonably priced. All round good base to set yourself if you have
a family. Also if you are Western like us, but are looking for somewhere
where there is no bar or alcohol because you want a quiet time with the
family, then it's ideal. Most restaurants can be walked to within 10
to 15 mins, even with the kids.

Everything was so nice, specially view from my room on 27 floor. Kempinski Doha is highest building in Doha so ask for room with nice view. SPA center is good, gym, pool...
