Excellent location.10 Mins taxi from airport and walking distance to Souq and Corniche.Minimarket right next door.Obliging staff.Also nice reading/pc room on first floor with smoking facilities and good aircon.Clean. Location was great. Receptionists were very helpful. The hotel was well organized and clean. Surprisingly good breakfast. Great value for money. The WIFI speed was incredible.

I was travelling by myself and staying overnight in Doha. I needed a place to spend the night. What I was looking for is a Budget-friendly place that offers free wifi, breakfast included, and to get a ride from the airport to the hotel and back the next day. The hotel offered that. There was someone from the Hotel at the airport to pick me up upon my arrival, even though I arrived quite late. The wifi connection in the room was good too. The staff were very helpful, and there was a supermarket . All hotel staff were really professional and humble in their approach - Driver, Reception staff, House keeping, Bellboy - excellent service. The Airport Pickup and Drop off is very useful feature this hotel offers. My request for a Late Checkout was accepted and really appreciated, since I had a late evening flight. great location, next to the souk waqif good for a meal out, plenty to see and do easy to get around taxis where so cheap we found out the food at the hotel was very good and varied and reasonally priced. Location- it's about as close to Souq Waqif as you can get without staying at one of the souq's expensive, high-end hotels. Close to bazar and Corniche. Movie channel on in breakfast room! the BBCworld news would have been more appropriate.who watches a movie at breakfast?! had to make ur own granuled nescafe coffee... :( but food was ok. just ok. Not applicable. The furniture in the room was quite old and I found the bed was not very comfortable. I was exhausted and didn't mind that very much, although if all the beds were that old I doubt I would like to stay there with my family with me. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and would consider Al-Nakheel again if I was visiting Doha alone in the future, but may prefer to look for something else if my family was with me. This hotel is not up to the standard of a regular 3 star - in need of renovation. Breakfast spread is very poor and they should improve the menu - stick to the fresh eggs. Room- small and extremely cramped; the bed took up over half the room's floor space, leaving no area for a desk and making simple navigation a chore. Breakfast- a relatively paltry offering; I usually only ate some fruit. This hotel looks great only from outside. My room was terrible. Small dark hole. Cracked and dirty bath. Musty stench in the room. No open windows. Breakfast was also poor. NO parking available all the time. Building was old and not well maintained from the inner side, i would recommend people who would stay for a day or two not for long. Hotel was very dirty and not in good condition. Really old, outdated and dirty. You do not even get a linen sheet to cover yourself in the bed, just a blanket, used probably by thousands visitors before -> so unhygienic! I would not use it even just for overnight stay again. Room was not furnished as it should be for 3* and it was even not similar to hote apartments. Bed was too small Rooms should be more comfortable and nice furnished. Strange was that duty manager was unable to provide invoice and advised to provide later and asked to write an email, sent 2 reminders but no action. previous guest rate 8/10 is not corre ct, not up to standard hotel , it should be 1 start hotel , not clean and hijenic, pictures on the website not true. There is nothing positive about this hotel. It is dirty, dull and the staff unfriendly. It would struggle to get 1 star. It is certainly not 3 star. The hotel is also situated on a main road which is noisy. The internet only worked in reception, despite the hotel advertising free Wifi in all rooms. One of the worst hotel at this price bracket I've ever stayed in. No parking. Extremely poor internet connection. Poor quality of breakfast. Hot water problems throughout the stay. Staff behaviour and responses. Poor house-keeping.
