The hotel made us feel welcome the moment we arrived. They have a jacuzzi that we used and the staff kept stressing they wanted to help us relax. The whole atmosphere of the hotel was comfortable and beautifully decorated. I would happily stay there again. It is also, obviously, the perfect location for visiting the salt mine which is well worth it. Important information to guests

Due to renovation works on the Daniłowicza Street, access to the Grand Sal Hotel is provided from the Matejki Street through the gate of Wieliczka Salt Mine – gate “Kinga” (with a barrier). If arriving from Kraków (the A4 motorway) please drive straight through Dembowskiego Street, pass the park on the right hand side and turn right to Matejki Street just before the Salt Mine buildings.

The Hotel is right next to the Wieliczka Salt Mine main tourist entrance. From the airport: Take bus no. 192 or 208 (every 15 minutes) to Krakow Main Railway Station. From there take bus no. 304 to Wieliczka and get off at the Wieliczka Kopalnia Soli stop. . You can also take a fast train from the airport to Krakow Main Railway Station and change to the Wieliczka fast train. Total travel time is 30 minutes.
