I was staying in Mera Spa with my BF 11th - 14 th October. This trip to Sopot and stay at Mera Spa was my present for his birthday. We stayed in Mera Spa second time and were as glad and satisfied as during our first stay. Loved everything, especially, a lovely girl instuctor for aquaerobic. Hihly recommend her class! people at reception were also very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really good and varied. Coffee and even news hand out in Russian were available :) Thank you for keeping th.
all reviews » I liked the hotel room a lot - it was very light and airy and conmfortable, and the balcony was lovely. I also liked the design of the hotel and the public spaces. The spa facilities and leisure centre facilities were excellent. The bar and pizza cafe on the ground floor was also good, and the breakfasts were substantial. I also liked the location of the hotel , right. The design of the hotel is perfect and fantastic location. Staff are very helpful + either speak English well or try their best to do so. Spotlessly clean and spacious. Excellent breakfast. Best hotel I ever stayed in. This was my first visit to Poland + I would definitely go again + stay at The Mera. Very professional staff, friendly and spoke to us in Polish and some English. Very accommodating for our last night as we requested a wake up call and a taxi for early morning. Food was excellent as were the drinks. Our room was ready for us when we arrived early and the extra bed delivered promptly. Really, I liked everything. Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is very clean. Thanks to big windows the hotel is spacious. Masseurs are very proffesional and skillful. In spite of strong wind and cold outside it's very warm and cosy inside the hotel. It's a great place for family. The stay at the hotel was excellent, great spa and wellness, location is absolutely perfect and the boardwalk and the beach is so lovely. I was unimpressed with the Pescatore restaurant - the food was over priced for what it was, the wine was very expensive (and in fact what we ordered was unavailable) and the food came so quickly that we thought it had not been freshly prepared. The service in the hotel was friendly in general but occasionally could perhaps have been a little more efficient, and again the waiter in the Pescatore was not particularly good. We would suggest a coffee pot in the room and an area where those who smoke could go to away from the main entrances but discreetly easily enough to get to. Hot tub could have been hotter. The ground landscape needs more attention in the front & back area making sure it keeps its attractiveness. I would like it even more if there was a coffee/tea set in the room. no gym. Hard chairs in breakfast area Music around hotel and pool area. The breakfast could have been more varied. After 4 days you would like to see something different. There is no kettle in the room for boiling water for tea or coffee which I would expect in a 4* hotel. Some of the staff needs to learn to be nicer.. Just one if I have to- bathrobe quality not the best being spa hotel I would expect sth better. Only one Chair on the room. Missing table on the balkong. no kettle in the room. I used the spa facilities which were great but I had a manicure which was pretty average to say the least, no attention to detail and pretty amateur. Wasn't too keen om the open bathroom area in the superiour room. Did miss a coffeemaker in the room, and would prefer the possobility of 2 single beds. There was no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. Paid and unadequate parking facilities!. Nothing. 50 pln for parking place. Lack of tea/coffee facility in room. Small details needed, iPhone docs in the rooms, more toiletries, gym or exercise room. The balcony was not clean enough. Weather :). The breakfast was good but could have been better with fresh fruit. very poor service in the restaurants (especially some waiters in the lower restaurant - no idea whats in the menu or what wines they have...) and lobby (had to ask 3 times for a baby cot). nothing.
