The owners and staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The location of the property was both peaceful and tranquil. The room was both clean and comfortable and excellent value for money. It is a good base camp for those visiting Auschwitz Birkenau which is located on the bus route from the village were the accommodation is located although there is a limited service on a Saturday and no service on a Sunday. Just down the street they have a restaurant where we had an excellent dinner and a delicious breakfast. Staff spoke enough English and were extremely helpful. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wish we had booked for more than just 1 night. We stayed here while on our visit to Auschwitz (which is less than 10 minutes away), but I do not know what else is in the area. There is a river just behind. Hotel situated in the countryside but ideal to visit auschwitz which is located at 6 kms. Krakow is at 60 kms and Dunajec gorge at 130 kms. Beata , the hotel owner is really kind as is her mom. We had a very pleasant stay there. The breakfast is just excellent !!!!! do not miss it Finally , we recommend this place to anyone , especially if you plan to visit Auschwitz memorial and the region of south poland. We wanted to go to Auzswhich concentration camp and have accomodation nearby. This accomodation was excellent and an easy short drive to the camp. Their little cafe/restaurant was a real bonus, we had a lovely meal and beer. The cafe was a short walk from our accomodation in a lovely little village.
