We stayed in Queen Boutique Hotel in November 2013, in a double room for two nights. Our room was really large, located on the top floor and had a nice view of historical tenement houses of Kazimierz. Through the roof windows you could see the sky which was nice too. The main street is quite busy but we weren't disturbed by the noise - the windows must be well soundproofed. Our beds were comfortable and the bathroom really nice, clean and with heated floor. The room is well equipped in tea&.
all reviews » The staff were some of the friendliest and helpful hotel staff I've met. They were more than happy to help book tours and taxis for us. Everyone spoke very good English (which was very helpful as my Polish is pitiful)! We also received a voucher from their management to enjoy a meal in their restaurant. The rooms and hotel itself was excellent. The room was very large and we had plenty of space to move around in. It was cleaned daily and was always lovely to come back to at the end of the day. . Beautiful hotel we got a free upgrade to a room with a balcony looking out to the castle. Huge bathroom with free standing shower. Cheap mini bar. Great location equal distance between the Jewish quarter and the old town square. Less than a ten minute walk. Breakfast typical continental Buffet. There was a bottle of cava on ice beside the orange juice ;-) also you could order to make different types of egg breakfasts free of charge! Free wi fi, free mini snacks in the restaurant voucher when we. Fantastic location, close to the town square and the old Jewish quarter, easy to access all means of transport, but we preferred our feet! Good breakfast with a wide choice, whihc varied from day to day. We didnt take an evening meal at the Hotel, however it appeared to be good value in comparison to other places we ate. They arranged trips for us and air port transfers. The Spa treatments/sauna was also a real gem. Wouldn't hesitate to return to either Poland or this Hotel. The only thing that I could class as a negative would be the noise from the roads, as the hotel is situated next to what appears to be a main road. The reception staff do not need to keep standing up each time you leave/enter. This is not a critism just a personal observation. The English weather !!!!!!. Car parking a bit of a problem. It would have just been nice to have a slightly more relaxing bar area rather than just having to use the same area that is used for dinner. The surrounding building give you a bad impression of Krakow. Don't expect a swimming pool etc. Limited number of channels available for English speaking guests. the only thing which was wrong was that the room so very warm at night and having the window open wasnt an option because of street noise. but other then that it was great. Room was allocated opposite Maid's storage closet so there was some noise in the morning (giggling and chatting louldly). The area is a little run down where the hotel is located. nothing. Absolutely nothing. Although the hotel offer free tea in their lobby from the afternoon till late into the evening it would have been nice to make it in your room instead. Voice in the elevator. Ridiculous. Not a big issue but missed a coffee machine in room (tea provided in lobby). Had to ask for towels 2nd day! No bath towels. No bin in bedroom. Used teabags not disposed of. Felt housekeeping was disappointing for a 4 star hotel. The hotel is situated on a busy main road which trams pass through. Found it quite noisy as our room was at the front. Although I would think that if you had a room on the other side of the hotel, you wouldnt hear the traffic. Absolutely nothing. I wasn't there for longer!. There was some problems with sink in the bathroom. They promised to fix it, but probably forgotten. No issues with hotel. Nothing!. A little to modern for our liking but aside from that, it was a great place to stay.
