The helpfulness of telephone staff as our flight was diverted because of heavy fog at Baluce airport & we arrived much later than expected our already late time. The girl who let us in was very pleasant at this late hour & very welcoming. Apartment was brill & with a late night mini supermarket just a few doors we could not have asked for better. all reviews » Stayed at Krakow City Apts on 2 occasions. Unit #12 was a studio, very clean, amply cooking area. Unit #4 was a much larger 1 bedroom with sitting area and large kitchen area. Location was very convenient to train station and sights, but location in a courtyard provide quiet from street noise and ability to keep windows open. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Unit was very clean and we couldn't ask for a better place to stay during our visit. They even offer bike rental for a nominal c. We really enjoyed our stay in Kracow, its a wonderful city, and these are a great base from which to explore. Situated only maybe 500m from the main square, and directly across the road from a beautiful theatre. The apartment we had, had 2 huge bedrooms, a kitchen and a well equipped shower room, with a good shower unit. There is a 24 hour shop next door. The lift worked fine for us, old but quaint..The staff let us leave our luggage with them as our flight was at night. All in all these are . Great Location! We were met on time and were in the apartments in minutes. everything felt very secure with a locked gate to the street and another locked door from the courtyard. The Apartments were in an excellent location. Felt very safe and friendly. Well its not all that obvious where to go at first, so do your homework in advance, and take the phone number. There are a lot of other offices around. The one you want is not on the main road, you have to press buzzer 3 to get in. But other than that I have no complaints. Nothing. There were quite a few steps up to the apartment and no elevator, it was no problem at all for me but something you should consider if you have any health problems that would make this an issue. What you can do is simply drive up to the hotel front doors. Although it is the Old Town’s restricted zone you are allowed to load- unload- your belongings. We had a two bedroom apartment and there was no sitting area in the main room. There was a dining table and chairs but no sofa so if you wanted to sit and relax you had to sit on the bed which wasn't ideal. The only thing if I really had to pick something was no elevator pulling luggage up two flights of stairs wasn't very convenient. Nil. Nothing. The hob did not work but not a problem just used microwave. lifts,old and small.... public carpark across road from apartment not recommended for vehicles with non-Polish plates - our Belgium hire-car was broken into. If you park there make sure you find a park close to the street which is well-lit. Toilet next to kitchen. Problem with one bottom sheet only covering mattress topper and not whole mattress. The temperature was on the chilly side. As a guess it was in the mid 60's F. We normally like the temperature to be 68 to 70. Because it was the beginning of June, I guess they turn off the heat. A second undershirt solved the problem. Becareful where you eat out!. Nothing. be careful, if you stay there in hot summer season, it is hard to stay because there is no aircondition, you can not resist with electric fun. Heating controls, or rather the lack of them as it was cold in the evenings. Snow in April!!!, can not be controlled unfortunately. The lift did work, but even thou the staff ensured us it was working properly, it did not feel like it. The cleaning could have been better, we found old food in the microwave... All fine. Perhaps add a picture or two to the walls to give a bit of character to the rooms?. Kitchen needed slightly more cutlery and crockery. Nothing to dislike!.

Our apartaments are situated in the heart of Krakow Old Town at 34 Szpitalna Street just opposite the most famous Polish theatre, in the area full of old historical buildings & churches, surrounded by the 19th century town park planted in place of the old city defence walls.
Although the apartments are located in the very centre of old Krakow, they are very peaceful as they are situated in a charming courtyard building. They offer a wonderful shelter after the tiring sightseeing of Krakow , allowing the tourists to join in the busy city atmosphere immediately when they step out of the courtyard, as they are situated within a 3 minute walk from the Main Market Square and the Train Station.
In the nearest area tourists will find a number of various restaurants, cafes and shops.
The cars can be safely parked in the watched parking area situated just across the street.

The building housing Krakow City Apartments was costructed in 1910 and underwent a complex overhaul in 2006. The building complies with the highest standards and it is equipped with a modern lift. Each flat is completely furnished and has got fully equipped kitchen area, comfortable bathroom, TV and Internet connection.
