This is the second time I've stayed at Deep Forest. Not only the staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating to me and my partner's needs, we have become good friends with one of the staff who have toured us around Puerto Princesa city. This hotel will always be my place of destination for accommodation in Puerto Princesa. The food at the restaurant were beautiful and delicious! It was a mistake to have travelled this time and try another hotel for the last two nights of our stay. We stayed .

I was greeted with friendly smiles from the attentive staff and when my Underground River Tour was sadly cancelled due to the weather, I treated myself to dinner and drinks in the magnificent bar in the company of Peter the owner and another member of staff, May - one of the best evenings of my trip. The Wine Cellar Bar is five-star standard in my opinion and you are treated to some excellent classic rock and pop music to help you relax. The owne. We liked everything about the hotel, the room and facilities, the shower. Loved the tiinted windows that gace privacy while the curtains are open even at ground floor level. The vegetation was lush and the grounds well kept and the pool clean. The restaurant was clean and the menu quite varied with speedy service, I would liked to have seen a Chef's Special each day and inclusive breakfast for the price. As a base to explore it was fine and the tour admin inside the resort was so efficient,. The food!!! Suuuuuppppeeeerrrrr yummmyyyyyy!!! I loved their food to the extent that when we came back to Puerto Princesa after our island trip we stayed in a different hotel (they were already fully booked) we still went to Deep Forest to eat lunch and dinner. All their food is very good but my favourite are their blueberry and strawberry tarts. Their swimming pool and jacuzzi is very nice and relaxing too. The staff was also amazing. The next time I come back to Palawan I will definitely come. it's a perfect place if you want peace and serenity...i enjoyed the pool a lot, it's well maintained and not so deep to swim. also there's a bar in the pool which i think is super cool! :) the food was also great! the staff are accommodating. our stay was a great experience. given the chance i will visit it again next time i go to puerto princesa. The view of the hotel premises was very nice. The room was very good, the food excellent, the hotel personnel very polite and friendly, therefore it was an excellent stay. It's a pity we stayed only one night in Puerto, not having seen de undergrond rivers. We were only passersbij, coming from El Nido. It is really a very clean garden with lots of trees and plants. The room is large, the bathroom luxurious and plenty electricity sockets! Those who enjoy wine can wine and dine in the wine cellar. Restaurant is better than most others in the city. Definitely value for money!. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, which made our stay even better than it already was. The room was very big. Loved the swimming pool with the bar. It is a very unique place to stay, which you just have to experience with your own eyes. The rooms were very spacious. I liked the food I ate during breakfast (pancake was so delicious). Also, try the famous filipino pancit. There was good connection to Internet anywere you went. I love the whole place. It's very relaxing which i can recommend to friends who want to have a peaceful mind out of the city. And did I mention the food? All are very tasty with big servings. The staff gives excellent customer service. They served us with everything we need. The pool bar is cool because you can drink, smoke, or eat there. When our room was made up and dirty towels taken away, we always had to call for new towels to be brought over to our room. I couldn't fault this place and would use again. Nothing. i didn't encounter major problem during our stay. what i didn't like is the poor internet connection and the location itself. it will take time (about 10 mins) for you to get to the city proper.aside from that, nothing more. over all we enjoyed the stay at deep forest. Very little. I would suggest to put a small water heater in the room. Secondly a small table with chair to blog ur experiences of the day. However the internet is still quite slow. For the coffee go to Itoi's place in town. Nothing. The hotel is a bit far from the "city"... So every time we had to go out for dinner a trycicle was needed. The pool is quite simple, but the jacuzzi is so relaxing!. Overpriced goods i.e cigarette. The mosquito's. They need to spray the plants and surroundings a little more to keep the mosquito's away. There's not many things to do in Puerto Princessa, so I would recommend to choose this hotel, as there is swimming pool, bilard, etc. Restaurant was a bit pricey but food was good at least :-). Poolbar had a poor system, you had to call to reseption to get someone to bartend. WiFi worked rarely. a bit way out of town, not so easy to find, the beach near isn't what travellers look for, one has to go further to find nice beaches. wifi sometimes not stable. Food is too expensive. None. Service in resturant no so good...had to ask for everything. Know your customers before checking in. Senior citizens ground floor, young ones 2nd floor. otherwise satisfactory stay. no. I dont like the fan that was placed on the floor. When you switch on the fan it suck the dust from the floor and blow tbem on your body and I feels itchy all over. Wifi didn't seem to work. Our bathroom smelt of sewerage. The shower definitely needs an upgrade, the chess pool needs more water. The room should have the basics ie. kettle, coffee cups, tea. The WiFi is too slow and the food is a little expensive. No house keeping during our entire stay. Travel agency inside. little far from the main entertainment area. Distance from city and poor Internet. We went there without a letsbookhotel.com reservation so they tried to charge 1800 php (letsbookhotel.com price was 1050 php). So in the end they let us us their internet to book on letsbookhotel.com. There was a constant sound in the room, i think it had something to do with the ac. Housekeeping needs more improvement. None so far;).
