Generally staff were very attentive and indeed in one of the restaurants the staff ensured a very personal and welcoming experience. The Aum spa was beautiful. We had a 4 hour indulgence package - simply beautiful! If you just want a bit of pampering and total relaxation, this may be the holiday destination for you. First and foremost, the staff -- awesome, awesome -- very friendly, helpful and attentive! Buffet breakfast, excellent. The other restaurants were great too. Live music, tasty food, etc. The ambiance of the place is so beautiful, peaceful and restful. Great value. Wonderful stay. Highly recommended.

But undoubtedly that is good for the local economy, so fully understandable, this is a family place, and somewhat less suited for the individuel traveller. Excellent restaurant!. Loved the hotel, All of the staff were so attentive and happy, room and bed was quality as were the facilities, youre in for a treat if you stay here and would definitely go back, rest, comfort and relaxation gaurenteed. Beautiful setting, giant lounge chairs, juice extracts for cool refreshment, daily activities like beach volleyball, swimming in the ocean. delicious breakfast and lovely salads. The facilities are superb ! I would recommend this to newly weds, to couples celebrating their anniversary; and to families who want to just enjoy nature. the staff there are really service oriented. They always put customers at the first place. Compared with Shangri-la, crimson is more valued for money. Wonderful service. The staff were really go all out to help. Nice beach. There really is very little to do here. The resort is quite isolated and even trips into town provide few of the normal tourist 'treats'. Just as well they had an AMAZING pool because the beach was very much a disappointment. This was a VERY expensive holiday option with everything running with a ++. Internet / wifi is rather weak. Swimming pools only 90 cm deep, or there abouts. No deep segment at all for diving. No negatives for the hotel but if you are looking to eat out or nightlife then its about an 45-60 minute journey to Cebu Centre - however the hotel can arrange a guide and transport for you. Didn't have dive services, had to go to the Shangri-La to arrange diving. Transportation to other areas very expensive. Not much interaction with local area. Going to the hotel, there was not a sign on the road. Not even a small sign that would show , that you should make a turn. Also, the road leading to the hotel with the tricycles is not a good sight too. the internet! the wifi signal is weak and hard to connect all the time. Pool is always packed with kids so we totally avoided the pool. I would not stay again because of the internet. It is very slow and not reliable and I do all my work on it and have to have good connection. I insist for hotels to put all in charges , transparency is important and make a difference. Prices in bar are in several times higher than in the store. No wifi on the beach. the prize is too high. Typhoon Hayan.. price. Not much to do nearby. Cebu is not the best city to visit. no regular taxi's, 30 min from downtown Cebu. the mattress was too soft and gave me a back ache every night. way too expencive. To say good bye... Too few activities. nothing. Lack of sun loungers and restaurant options. its hard and expensive to catch taxi. Some of the staff at the reception and pool area can't really speak english :(. Everything is extremely expensive: food, laundry, activities... The quality of the restaurant is not up to the prices. When they show the prices, they hide the fees than they add to the bill later. This fees increase a lot the total price. - overall: it would have been a good deal at 60% of the price and if advertised as 4-star. Facilities and service definitely not 5-star - only 1 full-scope restaurant with secondary outlet at pool - food choice limited and quality mediocre - service - although very friendly - simply not professional and quite slow - No infrastructure whatsoever in the vicinity of the hotel (within 15-20 drive) for decent dining or shopping. The service was not good! They let us wait for so long because of some reasons. And the worst thing is they charged the credit card twice without informing me. How could they do that? They used my credit card without my authority. They did not informed me about that! I will not gonna recommend crimson to my friends and relatives. They really have poor customer service.
