The room is very spacious and modern. The bathroom is superb with a state of the art showers. However, I did not see a bidet so I used a lot of toilet paper. Room 221 has only one chair. I suggest that there has to be an additional chair and small coffee table when watching news on teevee. My stay there was very cozy, luxurious and memorable. I got a Father's day promo price. More power. Everything about the hotel is superb! We weren't sure what to expect but surprise to find a gem of a place. Staff's great & very helpful.will definitely come back & stay longer next time. I will recommend this place to all my friend in the States. Please keep up the good work & don't change. Thanks!!!.
all reviews » The hotel is very clean. The rooms are very comfortable with clean, modern bathrooms and spacious balconies. The restaurant serves good food. The best feature of the hotel is the balcony outside the bar. This is long, spacious and has fantastic views of Mount Mayon, which can be enjoyed with a cold beer in hand!. The Mayon view from the pool and entrance is almost perfect. The swimming pool, breakfast buffet are great extras. Also love the big room with quiet aircon and bathroom with nice h&c shower; also the live music. Nice friendly staff. Food is good and affordable and my family enjoys the buffet breakfast. We like the infinity pool and the breathtaking view of Mt. Mayon and the sea. It's a must stay whenever we are in Albay. bed is clean and comfy so we had a goid sleep. staff are naturally friendly anf helpful. nice view overlooking mayon volcano.free airport pick up and drop off. breakfast is included in the rates and food is ok. The wiew is perfect the location is exelent, it is a real good hotel with professional staff and great breakfast. After the really hevy climbing to the vulcano it is a perfect place to relax. everything. the hotel was fantastic and did everything they can to accommodate my many requests since I was planning on having a treasure hunt for my boyfriend's birthday there. Our room was perfect for an overview of the majestic Mayon volcano and the panoramic city view and of the sea. Room is neat and clean. the staff and customer service, the buffet breakfast is good, the music at night iwill recommend this to all m friends in california. Minimum seems to be p50 for 3 km. none!!!! honestly!!!!. We were expecting for an entitlement of the senior discount but were told that the room rate we had booked was already a promo rate. Since Oriental is situated on top of the hill, accessibility in going to the city is inconvenient since there are no regular means of transportation are plying within a distance reach except for on call taxis. Food selection for breakfast is mostly Filipino food. My husband is belgium so he has a different food preference..please add pancake and yogurt for breakfast..thanks in advance. Just a bit expensive. The aircon thermostat controls was quiet hard to manage. None. Far from the bus station. there is a coconut tree blocking the view of mayon volcano from our terrace. The food - not very good and too expensive. I don't mind paying more for food that's really delicious. More choices for breakfast like yogurt, muesli and and dim sums. Not so clean bathroom. Location is not very accessible and would require you to hire a taxi cab. Flat rate for taxi cabs to and from the hotel is php 150. It would have been good if the hotel has a free shuttle ride to the main city. Pool is not that clean too. No sitcom on lobby. Poor sitcom on room. Pool not clean and maintain. Front Desk female manager was very snarky and unfriendly when presented with feedback Front Desk staff not trained very well Ants crawling all over furniture in my room Shower head rusted and not working properly. Was never cleaned my whole stay there. Poor services.
