Lovely staff! Very helpful, beautiful young ladies. Our room had a terrace, not private, but still we could open our door and enjoy the sunlight and fresh air. Location is great - Miraflores is clean and safe - the hotel is half a block from the boardwalk where we took daily walks. We also rented the hotel bikes. The reception and common area had a kind of comfy, cozy feel to it although a bit funky. Very nice dining area and good breakfast. Great location - felt safe and close enough to walk to beachfront and other shopping and attractions. The staff was very helpful and pleasant.

Friendly efficient staff. Comfortable room and good shower. They arranged the transfer from the airport efficiently and it was a pleasant location for a stopover on our way back to uk from Cusco. Staff was very helpful. I recommend that you take advantage of airport shuttle. The driver found us quickly and got us to the hotel safely at a very late hour. The breakfast was nice. Staff in main hotel were great. The facilities are a little outdated but probably in line for a 2 star hotel in Lima. Our shower door did not seal tight so some water spilled out onto the floor during each use. This was minor and I would still recommend the hotel. bedspreads were either dirty or just dinghy - either way made bad impression of the room overall. Room kind of small for 3. Nothing. I could have used a softer pillow. Breakfast could be improved on which would take the experience to another level. A city trip, which they offer at the reception is awful. It cost us$35 and was said to take 3 hours 30 minutes. At the end the trip was less than two hours on a small, uncomfortable minibus, with small windows, so you can see almost nothing and they show you only the main square and San Francisco monastery. Do not waste money, take a taxi and explore Lima yourself. Lima/Peru are much safer than it is believed abroad. Can hear guests talking from other rooms. They asked 3 pen for 1 usd (at a time when 1usd = 2.79 pen) which is litterally a 10% commission... This is not honnest, after staying one month in Peru, in several hotels we never saw that. About the "upgraded" room. It was a flat, with a dirty floor and rusty chairs. The comfort in the room is not good because it's very humid inside, also it's not comfortable to sleep and chlothes may humid the morning, if the and heather it's go ne be as we'll as. Bathrooms. No heater in room (Sept., Their winter) and had to go to front desk to borrow a hair dryer. No hot water in shower at 9 A.M., not even warm. That was on the day we were checking out. Desk clerk said they'd been having trouble since the day before! Skimpy offerings for breakfast. decor looked tired, bathroom facilities tight. Away from 'everything else interesting' in Lima. Commuting time to Airport 2 hrs during rush hour. Though it's located within Miraflore, it's a bit distance from the main area, i.e. no supermarket, no bakery, no bank, no shopping, just one restaurant around. Hot water was not stable. No coffe and tea in my room. Seemed like someone's apartment that had been used for the night. Poor state of decor.
