The staff and comfort of the room. Great Internet! I had a huge suite...the master bathroom was clean, but the 2nd bathroom was pretty gross...looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long while. The staff was very helpful and directed me to some places to visit. I went to Ras Al Jinz for the turtle observation and the drive was smooth and nice. Glad I stayed in Sur rather than Ras Al Jinz as the place was overloaded with loud tourists. Also, the hotel is located near a cute restaurant, sh.
all reviews » It's excellent value for many, rooms are very spacious and the place clean! We booked a studio and got a free upgrade to one-bedroom, which has got two bathrooms. Although it's a 2* it's clean and our bathrooms where better than in a 4* in Muscat. Internet is free and works fine, staff is very friendly and helpful, they called Ras al Jinz centre and booked us for a tour with turtles, so that we don't have to pay expensive roaming charges. Good location, mid of the city. 2 minutes from the beach. Friendly stuff. Large rooms & semi new & clean furniture. Very recommended. spacious rooms, well equipped kitchen, nice and helpful staff, two bathrooms in the two bedroom apartment, very good breakfasts. big apartments, suitable for families, two bathrooms, good location, value for money, clean. Breakfast ist served opposite in the Sur Beach Hotel an very nice Parking of own car infront of the Al Faisal Suites. Located out of town close to the beach. Very nice staff who will do the best to help your requests. Spacious room. The hotel is cheap and the flats are spacious. Breakfast was great. liked the staff. The dirty bathroom. :(. The hotel is located at the outskirts of Sur. If you have a car (like we did) that's not a problem, especially that it's close to the beach and away from the busy centre if you want to rest. That could be a bit of a disadvantage for some people. Although the studio was clean, but smell not good. Bath light and exhaust fan not working. Water heater, seems that been set for low temp to save energy. bed is really hard. breakfast is next door at the coffeeshop and quite basic. Nothing. after taking a shower the floor was flooded because there is no curtain in the badroom. Badroom poorly equiped, no toilet paper, glasses and towels only one shower towel. Bed to hard, no light and poweroutlets at the table not able to start cable tv. The bedding and towels were dirty, they need some soaking and not just washing. no items in kitchen ,no diving or fishing as per add cant sleep on beds to hard building site next door no view.
