This hotel has simple but comfortable character and provided us with a lovely overnight stop on our tour of Norway. The owner and his sister were both very welcoming and gave lots of good advice. This was a wonderfully tranquil location on our route and we could have easily chilled here for a day or so. The price was also reasonable for Norway. The owner: great cook (breakfast king), very enjoyable and a real traditional Norwegian atmosphere. Not the most luxureous place, but you don't want that in a place like Ulvik. The hospitality is great: really worth while.
