it is a wellness hotel which means you relax and enjoy the tropical surroundings, warm water and spa treatments. wonderful package deal with Hotel and Spa entry. Nice atmosphere, good restaurants, clean, relaxing. The facilities were wonderful.The breakfast and the relax atmosphere. It was a bit to pricy, especially when you arrive on friday evening.

During your stay in the hotel you have free entrance to Thermae 2000. This applies from the day of arrival until the day of departure.

Important information to guests

Due to safety reasons, children under the age of 10 are not allowed into Thermae 2000. Guests are kindly requested to note that it is recommended to make reservations for wellness treatments in advance. Please note that as a general rule: - It is obligatory to wear swimwear in the thermal baths. - It is obligatory not to wear swimwear in the sauna. On Thursdays in the spa, it is 'no swimwear' day. On these days it is not allowed to wear any kind of swimwear or other clothing items. Please note that Thermae2000 has special swimwear days. On these days it is mandatory to wear swimwear in both the thermal baths and sauna. - Each Tuesday is a swimwear day - Each first weekend of the month, starting from Friday 17:00. Please note that in December there are no 'no swimwear' days, except for 22 December. Guests can wear swimwear during this month. Guests that would like to have more luxury, can get an upgrade for EUR 35 and have an overnight in a lifestyle room or suite.

Valkenburg is halfway between Heerlen and Maastricht. Up-to-date travel information can be found at www.ns.nl. From 10:00 to 21:00 there is a shuttle bus service between Valkenburg station and Thermae 2000, costs are minimal.
