Very nice and large room with an amazing view, bathroom was good, beds were comfortable, excellent breakfast. Easy to find hotel and nice surrounding area. The price is (for us) a bit high, but you get what you pay for. The staff was very helpful, especially to foreigners making plans for local outings. Bikes were available onsite. Nice restaurant on site with great food and service.

We had a one night stop over at this hotel. Enjoyed being so close to the beach, it was quiet and relaxed. The BBQ dinner was fantastic!!. The staff was fantastic! My husband was ill and they were really helpful! I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Makkum!!. The position of the hotel was perfect for what we were looking for, and very convenient. The atmospheer was lovely. friendly helpful staff,good safe parking.the one evening meal we ate was excellent and value for money. Beautiful location, very peaceful for a spring break, we were able to relax and enjoy ourselves. Very close to the harbers, a lot of boats to look at. Onsite parking. Patio furniture. Spacious room. Nice staff, clean room, free WiFi. Perfect for windsurfing. see and personal. City is really beatiful and we enyoyed the local food very much. The weather ;). The kingsize bed had two twin mattresses pushed together - tough!. The shower was a little funny, but no big deal For such a hotel and location, I would have loved some wellness facilities. No cocktails at the bar!. There were no cups in the room for tea. The heating had not been switched on, and the room was a bit chilly. The option for vegetarian was very limited, or none. There was a bbq on the night of our arrival, but managed to get a salad. Staff were very helpful. more choice on the evening menu, but with the limited choice ment we looked elsewere for eating out. Lack of ventilation (very hot). No coffee, tea making facilities. I was really surprised that can still happen that staff at the reception didn't speak decent English (better: very poor English). I couldn't pay by American Express despite the fact they are promoting it. At 8:00 complete breakfast should be served but only few things were prepared - staff was late, confused and not friendly. Beds are old and used and not suitable for 4-star hotel. We don't recommend this hotel at all.
