What people say
I could not call this place a hotel. It is more like "your house in Maastricht", when you arrive, you get your own set of keys that give you access to an old Dutch house and your allocated room out of the just eight the room has. It has than nice feeling of freedom that no one is scrutinising when you enter or leave. The room is comfortable and mine, on the ground floor, was equipped with old wooden window blinders, plus modern electrically operated ones, quite useful for those of us not accust. all reviews »
A perfect location, just a few steps from the main Vrijthof square.
The room (number 3) was at the back of the building and so was very quiet - despite the noisy funfair in the square.
Location friendly staff good sized room windows that open tea and coffee facilities.
Central, good very friendly service.
Rooms were clean.
Friendly staff

Large rooms.
A busy town at time of visit with lively night-life.
Spacious room.
It is not that I did not like it, is just a warning to other prospective travellers. You have to go to "Café La Cloche" in Vrijthof (where breakfast will be served) to get your keys.
Some extra love to the wall paint, could be of use, but that is what comes with a 15th century house. And it was just some spots. Also changing the bulbs for less energy consuming ones would be a plus.
Breakfast didn't get a choice, not much on offer.
Stairs a problem with luggage.Long spiral staircase.
A bit expensive to eat and drink.
Internet did not work for 2 days of 3.
very old TV.
