I stayed on the top floor at 9th floor. The view was good to me. I could see the sunrise in the morning and I also easily checked the weather everyday. I like the design of the hotel. It had really good sense. The breakfast was really good. They prepared many things. The staff was kind. The room was clean and be in good shape. I want to stay there again. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Especially, a lady from front desk and lobby bar at night time. Also, location was excellent. Closed to central station and football stadium. And, room is really big. I wanted to stay longer. The price were too good for this room. If the price for breakfast was a bit cheaper, I would ate it but I skip that.
all reviews » The amazing design, funky meets a little bit of ornate. Very well put together, very helpful staff. Lovely ambience at the bar and a fabulous breakfast which set us up for the day. Plus the fact we were experiencing history as the hotel was once the Phillips factory! Furthermore, excellent internet connection and free!. Beautiful hotel with easy access to downtown. Our daughter lives in Eindhoven right behind the hotel so it was a perfect place to meet up. We were traveling with 3 elderly relatives and they loved it too. The decor was outstanding! Beer in the bar great!. The Hotel is very tastefully decorated and modern. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly, polite and helpful. The restaurant food was superb, beautifully presented and very tasty. I had a lovely room on the 7th floor with a really nice view. We only ate breakfast & lunch at the hotel, buffet style, it was really nice with a great selection. The staff are very helpful and really friendly. the friendly staff made our stay just that little bit more enjoyable ,nothing was too much trouble and all done with a genuine smile,and considering it was carnival weekend and they had to work and watch us party. I would have liked a bigger supply of tea and milk in the Hotel room. We did not have our room serviced during our stay. This was our choice. It would have been helpful to have been given more supplies of tea, milk etc. Nothing. nothing in particular. The coffee machine in the room did not work (but I did not report it, so did not give the chance for the eventual fix). It was a bit more cold in the room and we can't set the room temperature, it is with central adjustment. There wasn't a toothpaste and shaving cream that are necessary to travelers with hand luggage in the plain. - The shower hand-set was out of order - water was coming out of the shower area - the price 130EUR - usually I paid ~100EUR. Double bed made of 2 single mattresses and duvets wasn't as good as a more traditional set up. Hospitality, just not there, comparable with the one you get from British Airways staff. The interiour design is somewhat over the top. Nothing. double bed but 2 single blanckets...why??. Bed somewhat too soft. The lack of air conditioning coupled with no screens on the windows. If you leave the doors open to keep the room cool, Mosquitos get in and bite you, so you have to keep the room closed and hot. Nothing at all. In autumn and winter there is not enough light for the large room especially since the windows are relatively small (room is long and not so wide). The volume of the TV speakers is limited so certain programs are hard to hear for the hard of hearing. - nothing!. The hotel is split into two buildings. I stayed once in the other building which is detached from the main one and I had one of the best hotel rooms I ever stayed in, very spacious and luxuriou. However this time I was given a room in the main building and it was well below my expectation with very dull/dark decorations. I had to check out the next day as they had no rooms available in the other building. Very hot room, expensive and difficult to find parking place. Pricey breakfast. Armchair in the room wasn't comfortable so there was nowhere comfortable to sit and read except for the bed. the room was made in black colours -- but it was too much in the end i would have asked to be moved had we stayed longer. Breakfast is expensive. Bar was very expensive and service slow. Wrought iron ends of the bed prevent watching tv if you lie down the bed :) not enough coat rack for suit of clothes. Finding the hotel entrance. Breakfast. disappointed about the single bed. Lighting is poor. All the drinking glasses and mugs provided had sticky rims and other signs of use; they had been rinsed out but not cleaned before our arrival. We didn't use them, needless to say. Some of the toiletries had already been opened - perhaps used - by previous guests. Reception staff seem poorly organised and don't cope well with busy periods. Answers to questions about the hotel and surrounding area were inaccurate. - non-comfortable bed with 2 separted materasses, which everytime sliding each from other ; -too low temperature inside. somethiong rong in air-conditioning system; - i've been little bit confused when my card (garantee funds has been reserved) has been charged automaticaly for non-provided service: for breakfasts, for parking ( I stayed at the hotel without my car) etc. After they charged my card by real charges. Garantee fund has not been re-funded. - Long walk to my room! Two elevators, three corridors - Crazy expensive breakfast at room service: EUR 42.50. This artistic style means ambient light (not enough light = you cannot see well wheather eveything is clean), unconfortable iron bad, not practical open gardrobe. It was also quite cold in the room, could not figure out whether there is the possibiltiy to adjust temperature. Parking is expensive 15 €. The room we stayed was quite dusty. Maybe didn't use while? Some facility was slightly damaged. The hotel is a big labyrinth. It's almost impossible to find your room. You have to take three lifts and walk a lot. Really strange. The hotel itself seems to be unfinished. The heater wasn't working and had offered us a portable one, which wasn't strong enough to keep our room warm. I've found a condom pack behind the bed as well. Don't worth my money at all. I would not recommend to any friend. The rooms are cold - central heating cannot keep up with the tall ceilings of the rooms. Even though the staff provided portable heaters, it was not sufficient.
