The staff at the riad was extremely friendly and hospitable. We arrived around 2am, but Sa'id graciously welcomed us and carried our bags to our room. Our room was clean, spacious, well-decorated, and afforded us the privacy we were looking for. It also had air-conditioning, a definite requirement for any trip to Marrakech in August! The location is ideal for exploring the medina, very central yet quiet and tranquil. The breakfasts were plentiful and delicious and changed daily and served from early until late so no need to rush. The riad is stylishly designed, a testament to the beauty and versatility of tadalakt it was a pleasure to return to this Riad after a busy day in the souks. I was greeted by the friendly warm manager Syed upon arrival to Riad Dar More who made my stay feel very homely. The design and cleanliness of the Hotel was most striking however. Beautiful, Calm and so appealing to the eye it is an oasis in the heart of the old town of Marrakech. 2 Minutes walk from Jema El Fna Square. I highly recommend this hotel with quality of the Ritz at a price which suits every persons budget. ps Breakfast was amazing. The staff was very friendly and supportive, despite the fact they know only franch:), was interesting to create a conversation. Finding the riad upon our arrival was slightly difficult. There was a sign off of the main road, but it was not exactly clear where the riad was after turning off the main road. After ten minutes of wandering around at 2am, we found it though. There was nothing we didn't like!. That they offered to take us from the airport and they charged us 20 eur and normal price is around 5 eur. there is nothing bad i can write about this riad.nothing at all:=). The bed was almost uncomfortably firm. Because of how the medina is structured, there isn't a lot of natural light in the building (at least not on the first floor where I stayed). The decorations were so beautiful that it wasn't a big deal, but if I were staying longer than a few days I might have preferred a room with a balcony or window. Prices for meals are a bit high but that's Marrakech Madina and wherever you go it is expensive. Nothing!. As I said in my positive I would recommend for riad de more to pick you up from the airport, you will get easily lost down all the alleys plus if you have a night flight like ourselves you may feel intimidated by the people that are lingering down some of the alleys. Nothing, rien, nada, zéro!. it was a little difficult to find,the 'welcoming' coffee was charged!. There was no attention to details (for example the handle on our door was falling off and the shower drain was a bit clogged). The rooftop terrace was not clean which made it difficult to relax up there. The staff was very friendly, though not prompt when we asked to have breakfast at a set time. We were also given a hard time for paying with a credit card. Even though it's very close to the main square the street is quite dark and small. I recommend to book the transportation because it's not easy to find it in the Medina's tiny and mazed streets!. Like it all. Small problem with WiFi but soon corrected.
