The staff and their service are exceptional, the Riad is truly beautiful with a very relaxed, warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Excellent location - an easy walk to everything, yet peaceful enough to relax away from the hubub of the Medina Emmanuelle and all her staff were wonderful and made sure we were well looked after. We got practical advice on where to go, what to go and, importantly, how to haggle. The rooms were spotlessly clean and nicely decorated in local style. The meal we had at the Riad on the night of our arrival actually turned out to be one of the best meals we had in our whole 5-day stay - really good Tagine. Thoroughly recommended - we would definitely return.

I first stayed at Riad Chergui in July 2011 on a side trip from some business. I am happy to say that my stay this July, two years later, was just as great. Even better really. I brought my 18-year old son and his reaction was just as mine was in 2011, the Riad is jaw-dropping beautiful. Sabine is a thoughtful and accommodating hostess and the staff is very attentive. The Riad is an oasis of peace and tranquility in Marrakech; the pool is particularly wonderful. It is well-located and the perfect place to relax between morning and late-afternoon outings during the blistering midday summer heat. The staff prepares a sumptuous breakfast each day and accommodates requests if you need to leave early for an excursion before regular breakfast hours. Lunch and dinners are available with notice, though I have never tried them, I imagine they are as good as everything else at the Riad. Two great discoveries for food near the Riad this trip: Chez Yassine- great, cheap local fare. Henna Cafe- great food, good prices- all profits go to charity to help local Moroccans (artwork for sale too). Both have listings here on TA.

erg goede riad op 15 min wandelen van het djama el fna plein. Enorm behulpzame eigenares (Emanuelle) waar je met al je vragen terecht kunt. Je kan er ook heel lekker eten. De patio met zwembad en het grote dakterres zijn formidabel. Een klein paradijsje in marrakech!

The staff were very good, and nothing was too much for them to organise - like breakfast at 4.00am so we could make our early morning flight. The breakfasts were both leisurely and enjoyable.
Although we booked the cheapest room, and the food and drink were very good value, the basic B&B cost was quite high.
