This was an excellent value guesthouse about 20 km up into the gorge from Boumalne (the letsbookhotel.com map location is wrong). You stay with a family, and the father Zaid and his son speak excellent English. On our first evening the whole family sang and played music for us and had us dress up in traditional Berber celebration clothes. We paid Dh1500 to get a transfer to and from the bus station to the guesthouse, a drive to the gorge and a 2 hour hike on our first afternoon, and an all day .

We received a warm welcome in this hotel located in a beautiful spot in the Dades valley. We had a wonderful home cooked dinner and spent the evening with the family. The next morning an excellent breakfast on the terrace with a beautiful view on the valley awaited us. I would definitely recommend it!. This was a fantastic place to stay, right in the Gorges du Dades with beautiful views. The hospitality was enormous and we felt right at home. Both dinner and breakfast were incredibly well cared for. We would definitely stay there again!. The room was at the top of the house. Clean and functional. The owners son was looking after the place and he did a good job and was very helpful arranging walks and guides etc. The food was great. Breakfast was good. Great view from the terrace. Hosts helped with rental car agency liaising which was hugely helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. We chose this accommodation because we were traveling by bus and thought the location of the guesthouse was near the bus station. We wanted to shop around for excursion and hiking prices, but because the guesthouse ended up being 20km up the gorge, and we didn't have a car, we weren't able to compare excursion options and prices. We suspect we paid too much for the excursions, so if you have a car we recommend shopping around. No hot water. It is solar powered and was cloudy when we visited. They need some kind of back up supply. One morning we didn't have any water at all. WiFi in room was down Dinner was disappointing but maybe because we arrived so late. A more laid back staff is more our style, but high energy may be good for some. Wifi was not working during our stay, but the owners let us use their computer when we wanted.
