El gran cipres was fantastic! It's new - everything was very clean and very well maintained. The owners, Alex, his wife and daughter, are extremely friendly. Always smiling, super helpfull and took care of us very well. The included breakfast is really good! Every morning we had a three course breakfast ( toast, fruit, main course ) along with coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice! I can't remember the last time we were served breakfast with such hospitality and care. We felt like family the. all reviews »
First and foremost, the staff is unbeatable! Friendly, helpful, and
eager to please. On her birthday, Ruthie got a cake withher breakfast
and birthday songs in both spanish and english. Second of all, the place
is very clean, and is quiet at nights with very comfortable beds. It is
also very safe. The breakfast is always freshly made, with a different
main each day, and is delicious and filling. The price is unbeatable,
especially considering all of the above. We ended up staying for 5
nights! .
The people are very friendly and helpful, they don't speak much English but they will try to help you anyway. Room was simple but clean and breakfast was very tasty.

They covered our room with rose petals, with a text in our mother tongue, knowing we were on a honeymoon...
It's a bit further up the road than expected, take a taxi if you have loads of luggage, but without its fine :-).
The room was tiny and didn't even have a window. The furniture is very basic and VERY old. The shower is... depressing, with a very poor stream. The place needs a serious renovation.
