Maria del Alma guest house was beautiful. I enjoyed a week-long stay in
a lovely, upstairs room with an expansive deck. The colors, the decor
and the peacefulness of the inner courtyard made it hard for me to leave
the room and head into the hustle and bustle of Coyoacan and Mexico

The staff were really helpful and friendly and were very patient with our limited spanish. There are loads of restaurants within walking distance, both familiar chains, e.g. Papa Johns Pizza just across the road, and more traditional mexican places. -
