  The location and the Design of the hotel couldn't be better. The front desk and consierge service was excellent! I'd like to give an special mention to Keshi (the concierge guy) who gave us really good tips and recommemdations as to where to go, where to eat and he even helped us to make our reservations to some places. Despite being so close to night clubs such as Cocobongo and Palazzo the noise is not a problem when you are in the rooms at the back of the hotel. Me and my wife had no problems with that. It's right next to the 5th avenue, the most famous street for shopping and hanging out.

  Gorgeous location, right on the beach. Units all have thatched palm roofs and minimal amenities (no phone, internet, TV, etc.) although Internet access is available at the bar and in the lobby. Makes for a very relaxing and romantic setting. Our unit was beachfront, we went to sleep lulled by the sounds of the surf. Our plan included breakfast... what people say » and either lunch or dinner - the breakfasts were great, the dinners a little more variable but still mostly good. Meals served buffet-style with one - The location is fantastic. Best on the Playa del Carmen. Wake up and go to sleep with the sound of the surf: in your own hammock on your own little patio, if you choose. The bungalows are a very good idea but are in need of renovation. The good news is, the whole place is being renovated and ready by the end of 2014. Go then. No Tv, no phones and occasional internet permit total relaxation. Complimentary waters every day.
