What people say
I just got back from five nights at Hotel Amatlan in the Condesa area of
Mexico City..... And what a great place it is. The hotel staff was
friendly and helpful and the room comfortable and clean. I will
definitely stay here on my next visit. The location is amazing with lots
of bars and restaurants nearby.....We had a fabulous breakfast at Buena
Tierra every morning. It's a bit of a walk to the neatest metro
station but still a great hotel and neighborhood. all reviews »
This Boutique Hotel is in the best location of Mexico City with excellent Restaurants and shops all walking distance and with easy access to the cities main attractions. The staff is wonderful, my special compliments to Paul Vincent who makes you feel like you are at your home away from home and will go out of his ways to help out! The rooms are reasonably sized considering the hotel is a small house.
Fantastic location in Condesa to explore the city on foot. Great staff- always very friendly and eager to help. The beds were very comfortable and the hotel was very quiet. It was the perfect base for us to feel safe and comfortable. Competitive rates despite the location. We would happily return.
The staff were super friendly and acommodating. Antonio welcomed us on our late arrival and got us settled. Alicia welcomed us more the next day. Our rudimentary Spanish worked well and Alicia's English is perfect. This little place is indeed a gem. We felt at home, safe, and comfortable.
The proprietors were friendly and welcoming. Perfect wifi. Great great location. We were upstairs and our stay was over a week's time so we experienced weekend and weekday and it was quiet. Comfortable, Clean and charming. Close to public transportation, and very walkable.
Hotel Condesa Amatlan was the perfect mix of traditional Mexico and hotel comfort. Alicia and Staff were extremely helpful providing awesome restaurant and activity recommendations! I would definitely stay here again!.
The staff were so helpful. We have booked another night on our way back through Mexico City, as we enjoyed it so much.
Great location in Condesa, ten minute walk to the metro.
The hotel, a converted house with 6 rooms, is on a quiet street, but
just around the corner from the action of Colonia Condesa.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. They allowed us into our room at 6am even though their scheduled hours are from 3pm.
Perfect location to base visit to DF, good value for money and friendly staff.
The rooms downstairs are lovely overlooking a small patio but the downside of the rooms downstairs is that you can hear everyone coming in and out which can be a little frustrating when you want to rest. But certainly not an issue.
The room was fairly basic but suitable. We were on the ground floor next to the reception so not sound-proof but it was fine considering we got up early every day.
Some rooms are smaller than others if that matters.
Nothing bad to say about it. I don't particularly like large hotels, so what some people may fault as a lack, I don't mind.
Room was a little small, but ok considering price.
It does not have a lobby, food or drinks.
You could hear other people moving around outside our room in the morning but it wasn't a big issue.
