This is a fantastic place, both for those who are newbies to Mexico City as well as old hands -- what makes it amazing is the people -- they really go so far above and beyond in helping you get around, will call and make arrangements, knowledgeable, helpful, kind. Really outstanding service. Also, breakfasts (the only meal I ate here) are just terrific. I've stayed here many times and love the place. For a budget B&B, it provides everything I need and more. I look forward to many returns. The staff is awesome and always very friendly. Located directly behind the American Embassy. Safe area with tons of great restaurants.

Very close to Paseo de la reforma y Zona Rosa, it is very familiar. b/fast /courtyard. Beds are a little lumpy, something to be expected at this price. Remember to book an interior room, otherwise horn honking in the am can wake you up. The beds are a bit too firm for my preference, but I still love this place. I think most Americans are used to softer beds. Warned reception every morning for hot water, then problem solved. One bath towel but no hand towel procured. Mediocre prepaid breakfast; it should at least include eggs. Could be hot in summer as there was no air-conditioning in our room. The room taxes increased the rate about 50% over what we were quoted. Quoted $80 US and bill for room came to $120 US. Still a good deal but higher than we expected to pay. Not as well kept as I would have imagined in that area, not very clear on the breakfast (continental? included with rate?), the bed was very hard!. Poky rooms and tiny bathroom. A fridge in the suíte would be nice. shower head. nothing. No real dislikes as it met with my expectations. One room close to the entrance of the hotel was very small and noisy, there was not enough space to move around the bed, expecially with a small children in a cradle. small room/too many stairs if you heavy packs.
