A B&B with a very good atmosphere, in an excellent location in the historic centre in a art deco building, nicely furnished, very good breakfast, plus tea/coffee making facilities where you also can prepare your own food, very helpful and informed owner, reliable and cheap taxi service, a lot of books available. And, because our room was with ... what people say » separate private bathroom, it was very thoughtful to provide dressing gowns for the few steps to the bathroom. - The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. We do not speak Spanish, and had not been in Mexico City before. They made restaurant and sightseeing suggestions and schedule the taxi back to the airport. The location is perfect for the historical district. We would definitely stay here again

Pico and Miguel are doing anexcellent job, provided that they had only few months to renovate the property. Top ten things that we liked at La Querencia: 10) roof access -- they are working on make the roof even better. they have a small roof-top garden there 9) common living room: Pico's collection of old pottery and abstract paintings, and a pow... what people say » er strip to recharge your iPhones or tablets. 8) Lucas -- he is Pico's friendly dog, we had to ask Pico to let him out to pet him. He is invisible oth - Excellent breakfest, super-friendly owners&staff, great rooms (a bit chilly, but nothing extra blankets wouldn't take care of). Definitely the best place we have stayed in Mexico City and if we ever go back we'll stay here!
