    The location was brilliant, we needed to be near the bus station and we were about 2 mins away! Always a taxi nearby and near some very good places to eat! Bar on the roof is very mellow and has a good mood/vibe. Breakfast was also fine. Cereal toast etc....     Started my journey in Cancun. Allthough it was already pretty late I was welcomed really nice. People there (stuff and backpackers) are very open. It was easy to connect with them and I spend amazing 2 days there. The stuff was really helpful and they showed us where you can go to avoid the tourists and the joined us when we went to the beach or d... what people say » id something else. A big thanks goes to Leo. I really enjoyed the time with here, she helped whenever she could! She also joined us on her free days a - I loved that with in an hour of arriving I met everyone & was in such a relaxed and friendly environment - great hostel & staff.!! Close to bus station & shops.. Had a great couple of days here with some amazing people - highly recomend.!!

    I enjoyed my time in this hostel a lot. The guys that run it were super friendly and helpful. When I stayed there, the place was quiet even though there were many visitors. Everyone was respectful and I had no problems with noise. The hostels gets 5 stars from me and if I could rate Fernando (a person who runs this hostel), he would get 6 stars fo... what people say » r his kindness!---Thanks, Mariya - Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Simple but clear and comfortable room. Good shower. Breakfast simple - unlimited toast with jam and coffee. Wifi decent signal in room.     Its uniqueness! Hostel Mundo Maya is a working progress and in a few months/years time it will be the hostel to be at. Staff extremely helpful and lovely, even though there is a language barrier.... The location is good, downtown Cancun close to shops, night markets, restaurants, etc; It is good if you do not want to be in the Zona Hotelera area. ... what people say » - Carlos (owner) and Monica (staff) are very helpful and friendly.
