all reviews » This year is our 25th anniversary, the manager, Mr Kiy, welcome us when we arrived. With a good surprise, a bottle of red wine, fruit, chocolate, snacks are waiting for us in the room. The room is great and excellent view. The staff are very nice, friendly and with good memories. The food are good, especially venese, the fine dinning restaurant. We should come back with our family. Super excellent and friendly staff, simply amazing island, it's a one-hotel island paradise, top quality accommodation, very well coordinated care and servcice (requests satisfied promptly, proactive and thoughtful, service was perfect to a fault). Amazing villa, we were very impressed. The staff are very polite and friendly. They assign a host throughout your stay who does everything to make you feel comfortable. Thanks to our host Moosa, we did feel we were special guests. Excellent reception, nice staff, beautiful island, amazing beach, very private swimming pool and quite beach. Excellent food, room service We highly recommend it for couples who want to have a get a way escape. - The room is nise and romantic, Ideal for honey moon couples, there is enough drinking water free of charge. Treated like VIPs, nothing was too much trouble. approximity to male airport excllent welcoming practice. Everything was great !! specialy the service. the romantic dinner was the best. Everything. Stunning place. - the fine dining restaurants (boring over-priced food though the reef fish was good) - everything is about treble the price anywhere else. - we wanted to see a beach villa so we can come back but that didn't happen - location of lagoon suites (they ruin the privacy and view for many lagoon villas as well as breakfast area) - they need a few more buggies or bicycles for each villa :). General speaking, We are very happy and satisfy with this stay. Following are only a few suggestions may help Jumeirah Vittaveli to be even better. Cleaning can be a bit better. Occassionaly, transportation is not on time, only once we called two hours earlier, golf car not come on time. Loster buffer a little disappoint, a few pieces of losters not very fresh. First night the AC stopped working. It couldn't be repaired, next day they moved us to another villa. Thumbs up again. Cockroaches in the rooms, found two during our 4 days stay When we lift our lugged soaked with rain as they do not have rain covers in their electric boggy. -The lack of pool lighting that makes me supressed to set in the room not enjoying sitting out side the villa. -The welcoming photo should be captured in the welcoming place not in a small room. Also the photo taker should ask us which picture you choode before printing it. Some problems with booking restaurants. kids entertanment center verey poor and food offering was limited in restorants mainly in boffet the staff alwayes take order and deliver another set of food that we have never ordered. Nothing. internet connection and the wire-less too were sooo bad and poor. There was a feeling of too much service on occasions. 2, 3 or sometimes 4 people would ask the same questions over dinner or drinks. This is a very minor point as the staff were excellent. The ocean view in the sunset water villas is blocked by other villas.
