The staff are exceptionally friendly and always there to help. I have booked an Apartment suite, however, the air-con is not working and resort staff had upgraded my stay to the Perdana suite at no additional cost. On the last day of the tour, one of the restaurent staff notice that my son was not feeling well. Upon knowing that my son had diahorrea, he suggested drinking hot tea and even offer one for my son. What a kind gesture. Will definitely come back to this resort for my subsequent visit.
all reviews » On arrival we were upgraded to a large family villa on the ground floor which had everything we needed with excellent housekeeping staff. The location of the Holiday/Federal Villa on Pantai Tengah Beach is perfect....Great for families. Seclusion of private beach, polite staff, the size of the swimming pool,good food , general service,close enough to the town, would definitely stay there again, such a relaxing place. Location: Right on the beach and quite a few eateries around A Taxi stand at the hotel Swimming Pool Waterski and Para-sailing facilities right on the resort beach. We loved the apartment we stayed in as it had everything we needed. It was very close to the beach and the beach was awesome, clean, soft sand. The room was large. Comfortable. We were on ground floor which was good since there is no need to lug luggage to second floor. Swimmingpool great. Free chairs at the beach an the swimmingpool. Clean beds every day. Sharing a very large swimming pool with Holiday Villa Resort, and a nice beach too. Location is excellent. Clean surrounding. My rooms ready for check-in before 2pm. I liked my stay at Federal Villa. Location was excellent. Becouse i like swiming pool very nice also sun set view. I like tropical garden and localation ( near sea). The private beach and the big swimming pool. Location. We were given a free upgrade into adjacent The Holiday Villa (unfilled capacity)... staff were excellent also... I got a ground Room after waiting for the previous tenant to check out.Well after7pm coz they had to clean up n all.I was not aware that it doesn't have lifts underwise I would have requested ground floor.Anyway it was a cosy room. If your expectation is not higher than 3 star hotel services and considering the payment for hotel you will be quit satisfied ! Sea side is great, stuff are polite. Hotel location is very good for restaurant and daily shopping. Beach front location. Appreciated the upgrade of 3 of our rooms to holiday villa. However, no tea/coffee making facilities as described. Kitchen was ok and staff obliged by getting more crockery and cutlery for us. We were given a free upgrade into The Holiday Villa (adjacent) & also had a seaview room. Room housekeeping staff were excellent. Bathroom very good. TV & AC both good. I asked a king bed and the hotel arrange to us a room with, also have some problems in our rooms and I asked just one time to fix when we back is done. Good location.2Bedroom Apartment is cozy.Very close to the beach and restaurants. Just few minutes drive distance to Underwater World. Liked the location. Its really close to the restaurants and water sports. The beach is prestine and sandy. Value for money Nice swimming pool Scenic and clean beach. They upgrade the room from superior to perdana suite. I requested to change room because the air cond wasn't functioning. They responded pretty fast. Very close to the beach and restaurants. They provide plates and crockery and a stove which is convenient. The location staff and facilities were great. Pool looks better in real than in the pics. Good location. The beach area was nice. pool and the beach. beach. Next time I don't want to stay in federal villa. Only plus is the hotel is on the beach. nothing. The restaurant was more expensive than the eateries right outside but that is expected. The restaurant offered quite an international variety of food. They only give a tea/coffee kit on the day you check-in (even if you are staying for 4 days !). The only setback was the shower pressure which made our shower an unpleasant because it took us longer than it should during showers. No hair dryer in room or an iron. Need to request. And on ironing need to do at an open lobby.Iron is not expensive at all. Wonder why the hotel could provide one in each room. We decided to go crumpled. But we are on holidays. No problem there. But what if you are combining work and holidays. This would be a hassle. Wifi expensive. No free drinkingwater. In all other hotels we stayed (8 in total) were provided with free bottled drinkingwater, but here they filled a botlle with water from the tab every day and put it in the fridge. We could have become very ill when we would have drunk this water. Location quite far (15 minutes walk, or taxi for 6 myr) from the restaurants and shops. No free wifi. No ironing facilities in each room. You need to share at a common place provided. Resturant is expensive. specially breakfast. Sometimes was not good smell in room , old furtinure. The Se rounding landscape area need to be taken care by management. Now it look like abandoned resort. So late check in as I arrived on time 15:00 and they gave me the room at 17:00 !!!!! No elevator and my room roof was so bad that I could hear the rain hit the room roof that annoyed me during night. A bit old room, but not so important. The reception staff not friendly. Food especially breakfast. The view from the room balcony. everything in hotel resort was so expensive (food, drinks, Wi-Fi for 1 hour almost 5USD !!!!!!!!) in almost each bar or rest on the other side of that street is wifi free and almost half price for food... old equipment and furniture in the room (not responding a 4* hotel - Holiday Villa) ... Mosquitos in the room. What I didn't like was when I arrived at Federal Villa resort lobby there was no notice saying that I was suppose to check in at Holiday Villa and the phone at the Lobby was disconnected. It was later that I saw some workers working at utilities ,then I knew I was supposed to go to Holiday Villa to check in.So it was pretty cumbersome. Internet is not for fee and in case of request the price is very high . We also had a 2 bedroom apartment and the toilet/bathroom was poorly maintained. Smells were coming out of drain hole. A bit of dish washing detergent would be better. Supposed to have a complimentary bottle of water daily but this was intermittent. I asked only 30 minutes to stay after 12:00, in reception one girl say only can't, also the check in is too late. I asked in my book check in before 14:00 and hotel didn't accept. I don't know why? I fink hotel was not full. I didnt like the fact that they didnt pay heed to my request to provide me a room with a good view. Also bit more in-room facilities such as drinking water/ coffee would be good. Need urgent refurbishment. no internet you have to pay and its really expensive . Toilet choke.After change room basin choke. Room air- con was nosy. One air- con remote control for both room. Cooking utensil incomplete e.g no pot, frying ladle, etc. No free wifi at room @ lobby. no covered walkways to villas. it was very wet and umbrellas were not available for use. We were told to buy an umbrella. food at the resort was a lot more expensive than at restaurants across the road. the staff was very poor, one day I came from outside and founding the door of my room is widely open and when the manager of the hotel come he did not take any action and he said that we will investigate. There are mosquito in the room. Upon reporting the misplacement of my safety depost key the staff assured me they had thoroughly searched the spa - after a worrying 36 hours I insisted on looking myself and found the key. The staff were very unapologetic about this and I would NOT be going there again. There were coakroaches and lots of mosquitoes in the room (ground floor). Good that the staff changed our room immediately on demand. Expensive for the rooms they offer. The room's old and terribly cleaned. Found dead cockroaches and other insects just in front of my room's door. I think they used insecticides heavily as there were lots of mosquitoes on the ground floor. Smelt like insecticide everywhere. And the electric kettle was not properly cleaned and covered with dust. I had to clean it myself before using it. They did not provide toothbrushes for us. I'd say they should and there were a few times of blackout in my room. Overall, not worth every penny. The apartment unit is very small and run down. There is only one tiny toilet and a tiny bath which badly need upgrading. Living area is also small. Not exactly what I expected, considering I could get better accommodations in Melaka for that price. We had a problem with the matrass in our bed. It was brown of age and smelled bad. Took 2 days and some a some arguing to get it changed. I think they just changed it with some other rooms matrass. So watch out for it. Terrible place, my only fortune was, that the air-condition went wrong in my room /water started to pour from it/, and they upgraded me to the 4 star main building /for an extra cost 50 Euro/day, of course!/. 20 Euro is the daily internet, plus 13 Euro/person the breakfast. Not too friendly, inpatient staff. For the final global price I could have got a much better 5 star hotel there. I don"t recommend this hotel. I booked a deluxe room and not nice and far from the pool. the remaining is very bad specially cleaning of the room and quality of the room itself. old, need renovation. Outside around the lighting unbrightness and the room number instruction also not clear so difficult looking for it . Nothing. Everything. Dirty, old rooms with roaches. Unhelpful front desk staff. Would never stay again or recommend to anyone. horrible rooms.. uncomfortable bed.. they do not have king size bed in any of their rooms.. unfriendly staff..

Exceeding 2 guests, each person is charged separately and is to pay directly to the hotel.
