Very clean and elegant rooms (for the price), super friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is very good.Location is just good. Very trustworthy house-keeping (I lost a key of a rented scooter and one of the house keeping maids kept it with her for a safe keeping until I reported to the reception, and the bell boy was looking with me, then the house- keeping maid told him: she found it and it's with her) I rewarded her with some cash for her honesty.
all reviews » The hotel staffs were very accommodating with our requests. Conveniently located close to the Kuah Jetty. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. I accidentally left my external hard disk in the hotel and the staff/housekeeping were very responsive when I called and explained my dilemma. They managed to locate the device and have it shipped back to me almost immediately. The staff at reception served with a smile. I want to particularly commend a staff by the name of Puteri for her helpfulness in arranging and recommending day tours eg Mangrove tour. She also exudes confidence and poise and you can sense that she takes pride in her job to give guests a good time at the hotel. Room was very clean. Everything was new. Me and my mom were standing in this hotel for 2 nights. We liked the hotel.the staff was very friendly and helped us in everything.rooms were cleaned in time.all the facilities worked well.near to jetty point.nearby are shopping mall and restaurants, fast food.breakfast was excellent. hotel's reception is prefect, they generally very kind and patience. Especially the lady called 'Nazi', she fulfilled whatever ridiculous requirements I asked, can you believe she even got me a belt! I willing to add 2 points more for her. The room, the location and the view from the room in the morning. Close to Kuah shopping places although a car will be required. Parking was ample and breakfast was very good - especially the fried mee. the breakfast, and the personnel who a showed their happiness to be helpful and in a steady readiness to answer the guests demands. Breakfast was good too. The location of the hotel is very strategic - near to shopping area, Langkawi Jetty and restaurants. The hotel location is great. The room is clean and comfortable. After a bad episode in a hotel at cenang...langkawi sea view was a life saver to our trip....big clean rooms and love the balcony view....stayed 4 nights took 3 rooms....breakfast was good ...location was convenient as we drove ard langkawi. The staff gets cash of RM 50 from me to guarantee the expense while staying in the hotel. I suggest we use credit card to guarantee rather than using cash. Staff, always smiling on the face, willing to help and answer all my question. Breakfast not so many choice but delicious. -Staff at restaurant cooperative. -location close to park and five minutes walk to shooping mall. -breakfast good. Generally hotel is acceptable but I believe it is a little over priced against the facilities provided. 1)Location/place is quiet & easy parking. 2)Room space is big & comfort .3)Cafe food okey . Staff is good and helpful, room is big in size. Beautiful views from the hotel to see the sea. The rooms were furnished excellently. Location is good, near the jetty. Good value for a 3 star hotel. OK if you like the quiet life. The hotel in good locatian. Balcony fences need some new paint job. The air conditioning unit was noisy, we suspected it was due to the unit's fan as the noise lowered down once it was turned down. One of the rooms booked had a dysfunctional toilet flush. It would be great if there were Chinese/Korean dramas or programme on Cable TV to meet the needs of Chinese guests. It would be great if breakfast starts at 6.45am rather than 7.00am as some flights out of Langkawi are early and guests may not have time to eat as they need to catch the flight. The fridge was not cold - apparently it stops functioning each time you leave the room? The round bath soap disintegrate (breaks up) too easily - wonder why. Near to the beach,however no one swims there.so we had to go to another beaches.the room was abit smelly bt we opened the balcony fr half an hour and smell gone. hotel charge for a jar of ice. Nothing. it was too rainy otherwise we would have made our stay longer in Langkawi and in the Sea View Hotel . Aircon not well maintain. Should be check regularly. We had to change rooms for the second nite. (1) Wifi connection not strong enough, (2) Balcony door do not slide easily, need a lot of strength, and its door lock cannot lock, (3) No newspaper delivery to our room, (4) Breakfast choices were pretty limited and they weren't too good. Shower stall was not cleaned properly as there were urine smell. There's no easy access to swimming pool. Staff not so friendly except the housekeeping. The bell boy is not helpful. Some drivers lack manners and etiquette on the road. nothing. the cable car was closed temporarily for maintenance, it was not informed in the website or etc. it was so frustating. The washroom has drainage problem... There was a door between my room and other room and we could here each other even when talking. Your kitchen staff (from egg counter). When i'm having my breakfast with my husband on the 28th May 2013 at your coffee house, i request a scramble egg from her and she show me her SOUR FACE AND NO SMILE AT ALL !!!. None. no arrangement for tour. Room in level 8 and above are under construction with poor facilities condition. Wifi connection not strong enough. Food. kids running around the hotel. There was no water supply on the final day. The staff could NOT give assistance on customer frustration. the blanket they give for the extra mattress very thin, i think it is a matress cover only!!. Swimming pool was dirty...some one vomit n spit inside the pool. Hot bath water, have to wait quite long for hot water Breakfast have limited choice Tv also have limited channel. This is my second stay here. I hope the management will consider improve the plumbing system especially the shower. It needs repair and refurbishment. No newspaper delivery to our room. Got to pick it up at the reception counter. Need better pool & maybe add a massage centre would be great. smelly pillow. staff in the hotel were not helpful. Receptionests did not answer especiallay at night. Property not well maintained. Shower fittings not functioning properly, lamps not functioning, downlight flickering, glass shower doors scrapping on the floor, no hot water mixer for wash basin and room service is not impressive. Just below average. There is nothing to shout about for breakfast. I am sure there will be many who will be satiated after two breakfasts.It is just a repeat. 1) Surrounding the swim pool not proper and tidy. 2) TV program not much & receiving no good. Poor facilities, furnaiture is poor and old. I got up early in the morning to shower, but no hot water .. happening twice without telling any reason there is no hot water, very disappointed with this situation. The outer buildings of the hotel says that its an old building where as room are updated. Not good value at the price 350 plus. Staff's attitude disappointing. Room service staff can't take order in English. Boys who were sending food to the room was rude but expecting tips. Pool located too close to seminar rooms,suggest a privacy barrier to separate the pool. Breakfast was very ordinary & ALWAYS COLD!!!!!!!!!!. Power points in the hallway were also pulled away from the wall exposing live wires. The Room not really clean,in the room we see cicak. staff must be training. i just let you no the management.
