I loved the location of hotel, maybe not outside area but it was handy to buses and all areas when walking. The Hotel was beautiful only 9 rooms and staff very attentive. Breakfast was delicious. Scrambled eggs and Nasi Lemak was out of this world!. Staff were exceptionally good: friendly, efficient and couldn't do too much to help. They certainly made up for any other minor issues we had. The rooms were good. Would certainly return if again in Penang.

Facilities were outstanding too. Muntri Mews is tucked away on a quiet lane away from the main bustle of the adjacent street. The rooms are very clean and tastefully done up with very helpful staff. It's a nice place to hideaway. Having read the reviews our expectations were high. And we were not disappointed. The setting was delightful, the rooms charming, the food delicious and the staff exceptional. Very friendly and helpful staff. A true home away from home in a real boutique hotel. And the simple food was good value and most enjoyable. Highly recommended. The bed is very big，perfectly suits for us with a three-year-old boy. The room is clean and tidy. Stuffs are nice. The design of the room. The thoughtfulness of everything. The friendly staff. friendly employees, small "oasis" in busy centre. nice welcome and goodbye. Good location Very nicely designed. Excellent staff!. Room was comfortable Staff was friendly & courteous. Rubbish outside, which help the flies increase, no storage in rooms no fridge athough any request for ice immediately bought to room. Floors between upstairs and downstairs very thin . Not much. Although there were a lot of fittings the lighting in the bed/living room was poor for reading. Also there were no cupboards in which to to put clothing and other gear, which is curious, not sure of the reason for that. Otherwise there wasn't anything to dislike. Nothing. Two small details: I would have liked a room safe (I don't like carrying money and passports around). And a face cloth would have been welcome!. Mosquitoes in the room are terrible. There is no room phone. The light in the room is not bright enough. nothing. The hotel was quite hard to find though we followed our GPS (as Signage was not visible) No parking for us who drove there No kettle in the room to make hot drinks .
