If you are looking for a cheap but at the same time more than comfortable place this is the right hotel. I definitely enjoyed evenings in garden which is decoradet with lovely flowers and friendly atmosphere. The owners are very sympathic and welcoming. They speak english and are very willing to give information about the city. -

We enjoyed our stay at Marina Apartments. The owners were friendly and nice. The studio was clean and decorated to a high standard. The room was very spacious with an equipped kitchenette; the bathroom was nice as well. The location of the apartment was great too - it was very close to the city beach and about 15 min walk from Ohrid town centre.
We would recommend the apartments to anyone wanting to relax close to Ohrid lake and also as a good base for day trips in the area.

The owners were very nice, kindly and helpful. We traveled with children through Ohrid from İstanbul to Budapest, and this place ideal to stop for one night on the way.

I would highly recommend Villa Boban to everyone. Boban and his wife are so friendly and helpful. They welcomed us with a drink and ice cream for our daughter and were so enthusiastic about Ohrid that we extended our stay. The villa is only a 15 min walk from the very centre and in a quiet location. The room was very modern and clean and for the price an absolute bargain.

Joce and his wife are amazing hosts. We spent 3 nights in Joces' accommodation and everything was perfect. Joce is a History professor and on our arrival his wife offered us perfect coffee and short lesson about Ohrid and Macedonian history was given by Joce. This lesson and given map guided us for sightseeing following days around Ohrid Old Town

We stayed there for 2 nights and from the moment we arrived, we felt like at home. Joce gave us a warm welcome, accompanied by coffee and rakija. He also explained to us what to visit and where to eat good food for less money. The apartment was clean and had everything it needed. I would recommend it to everyone. The location was good.

Very well situated, inside the Old Town, close to the Upper Gate - which means far from noisy areas but close to the main points of historic/cultural interest. Plenty of parking space. Nice panoramic views of the city and the lake or Tzar Samuil Fortress. Friendly and helpful staff. We loved our stay here.

We had one of the rooms at the terrace with our own table looking over Ohrid and the bay. It was next to the kitchen where one can make breakfast or prepare a meal, which is very convenient. The view from the terrace over Ohrid and the bay is beautiful at any time of the day.
The elderly couple that run Villa Saraj make you feel as if you've been part of the family all your life.
It is the best place to stay if you like friendliness and atmosphere rather then slick comfort and the standard type

First thing I'd like to mention is that the staff is perfectly helpful and warm. Always asking about your needs during the stay without being insistent. They were amazing!
Furthermore, the hotel is located right in the oldtown, slightly below down the historical castle gate, which is a very good location in Ohrid.
On the other hand, there is not much to talk about the lake view the hotel has. Especially, if you are lucky enough to pick one of the rooms on the upstairs, the view is amazing... Op
