As this was my first visit to Luxembourg, I picked the hotel a random, although it was not in the city it had excellent access to the City, restaurants close by and the hotel excellent staff were very helpful and pleasant, I will certainly visit again. Large family room. Fridge in the room was handy. Not too far from local shopping center. Which is excellent for a take away and a bottle of wine. Free parking around hotel from 6pm-8am.
all reviews » Good location, it takes 5 minutes with bus to city centre. Bus stop is in front of the hotel. Comparing with other hotels in Luxembourg city this one has fair and reasonable price. Rooms are big and confortable, the staff is really nice, its easy to find transportation, not too far from the city, good breakfast. Not far from the city center. No problem with car parking. Good Italian restaurant "I Trulli" just 50m away. lot of space , studio for the price of ordinary room , upper(sleeping) and ground (lower) part of studio. Not quite within walking distance of city centre but frequent bus service. beautiful hotel in luxury design. friendly personal in daytime. Friendly environment, nice breakfast and good location. A nice airy open room. Fridge was a handy extra. staff friendly and the breakfast was good. the room is nice, 5 minutes from the city. The interior is interesting, but already old.Value for money is good. If the hotel had two or three stars is all right. Nothing in particular. It was a convenient location for an overnight stop and a place we could rest - with a couple of resturants in the close vicinity. Close to the highway, good location to cut a longer trip in half Right next to a good restaurant. Price is decent. Breakfast is not bad. you get what you pay for. friendly staff. quiet. Bad experience No house keeping after noon until next day, polite staff without knowledge with their work. No enough parking. Bad service. Nothing. Air conditioning was challenged by the 28+ heat wave. There are no shops nearby. There's not enough place for all the guest to have breakfast at the same time, so it gets crowded and you have to wait. The family room we stayed in was on the ground floor on the corner of two avenues, so traffic noise was really high. The room had sleeping beds in an alcove on the first floor, and it lacked fresh air there and it was stuffy for sleeping. just an ordinary breakfast , charging wifi is not what most hotels do these days. Bus service less frequent towards last bus at 11.15pm; we missed the 10.15pm bus and would have had to wait until last bus. Taxi was only 15 euros though. we had to leave early in the morning but all though they told us we still could have coffee and some breakfast the sleepy night receptionist said it was closed and didn't want to give us anything else but the bill. the parking was not very big was full and we had to pay to stand at the hotel to park which is unfortunate. Old and damaged facilities of room. Booking notes that the city center is close by walk. I don´t know, but 3,5 km is not too short distance. Breakfest room was very very small and from breakfast we left hungry. Having to pay for car parking. Our bed - mattress past its sell-by date. No bar/restaurant facilities. Breakfast was poor. Cucumber very old, only cold hard boiled egg, canned fruit. Room carried a strong smell of stale cigarette smoke. Parking and wifi were both additional costs not included in the room. Room only had 3 pillows for a family of 4. Sofa bed had large gap where the pillow kept falling down. Quality of breakfast poor with luke warm coffee and only one piece of bacon available. The room was very dusty, the sofa expanded into 1 big bed and we have 2 kids so that didn't work out well. The sofa bed was as hard as the floor, but bumpy, so not so good to sleep on. There was no shampoo in the shower. Neighborhood looks very poor. Hotel was in dark when we came (children got scared). Room is very small but on the two levels (bed is on the second 'deck'). Equipped with cheap furniture. Rooms are on the street level with windows just on the pedestrian passage. Overall it is two or maybe three star hotel. you get what you pay for. extremely noisy with the demolition works invthe neighbourhood srarting early every morning wifi not operational for more than two days. Small window, preannounced electricity cut at 8:30, four-star hotel bathroom should look better equipped, breakfast was rather poor. The breakfast room was underdimensioned and food not dimensioned for all clients. Old furniture with odour. Bad breakfest, Verry expensive considering the conditions. Maybe 2 star rating not 4. terrible breakfast.
