  Spent 2nights at this lovely hotel which was run by the friendly, warm-hearted Mother (Deang) and her son (Paul). We booked their Deluxe Double (room 324 & 327) which came with a nice double bed, jacuzzi, free Wifi (avaiable inside room and dining area only) a LCD tv with warm homely decorations. Their furniture and walls etc were all made of ... what people say » wood and is much to our delight :) Most importantly, their room is clean and have a feel at home. Wide selection choice of breakfast from ham and saus - 1. Excellent service - The owners were very friendly and accommodating. Upon checking in, Paul (son of Deang, who manages the place and talks to guests) gave us a quick briefing on Luang Prabang, where we are, what places we can go to, and other recommendations which they helped us arrange. - Always checks if everything is complete to ensure that we had an excellent stay. - The staff (cook, shuttle operator, servers) and are very polite and treated us very well, which made us feel at home. 2.

  We arrived at night to a brightly lit, double story guesthouse with a generous balcony. After kicking off our shoes on the doorstep ( to protect the beautiful teak floor) we found our room to be simply but tastefully furnished. Its about 5 minutes walk to town. The banana pancakes for breakfast are delicious. We were very lucky to have Thuc (?... what people say » ) as our manager. He is a very friendly host and we were delighted he came to Kuang Si waterfalls with us!! - Rooms are very attractive with stained wood and recessed lighting. Big bed. Wifi worked fine in the room. Good location down a side street from the main road, and a ten minute walk to the night market area. The manager (and I think owner) is Vietnamese and doesn't speak much English or Laotian, but he tries hard to do everything to make sure you have a good stay.
