We stayed in Classic 500 for 7 nights. The apartment is huge and well equipped - washer/dryer, cutlery, cooking utensils, fridge, microwave cum convection oven, etc. It is indeed home away from home. The staff are generally good in English and is able to understand what we want. The accommodation is next to Lotte Department Store and Starcity. That's a e-mart in Starcity which we purchased our shabu shabu ingredients and had a feast on one of the nights. Across Classic 500 there's the Rode.
all reviews » Absolutely enjoyed our stay here. For the price we paid, we got a huge apartment with a big living room and bed room. Really felt like we were staying at our own home. The clean, modern design is wonderful. I really have nothing bad to say about this place. WIth our 9 months old baby crawling around every where, it was nice that the floor was wood & marble. The bed in the bedroom is also huge that literally you can fit 3-4 people on it if you are a family. The bed was also super comfortable. The apartment was beautifully appointed with the latest appliances. Well stocked kitchen to make simple breakfast or lunch. It is next door to lotte department store with gourmet supermarket and food court in the basement level. The building also had 3 very nice restaurants (but not cheap). The subway conveniently located across the street. The number 2 line and 7 was central line to all the neighborhoods we wanted to visit. (I.e. gangnam, myeongdong and markets). We never had to take cabs. I booked myself into a Suite at only HKD23xx. It was great value for money. The suite was excellently equipped (washing machine, oven, wine fridge, electronic stove, a huge living room, bathroom and bedroom). It was a new residence so everything was clean and fresh. The staff were friendly but not everyone could speak proficient English. I wish my home had some of the great features this hotel has. It is like a home away from home only better. The kids liked it so much it was one of the highlights of their trip. Very spacious rooms. A bit out of the way but I will stay here again and would recommend it to family and friends. We love the spacious apartment with beautiful modern-contemporary interior design. It was fully well equipped with electrical appliances. Though it's away from central Seoul, it has nearby Lotte Department Store, Star City Shopping Mall, E-Mart Supermarket, many restaurants, cafés and bars. The room is huge and the beds are so comfortable. Gud large windows for gud view. There's a Lotte department store and an E-Mart just next to the hotel. 3 mins walk to the metro which takes 20 mins to Myeondong. An environmental protecting hotel. Cool! Lotte department store is just beside the hotel, so it is very convenient. Would stay at this place again. Each of the apartment is well-designed and spacious. It is pretty high-teched with free wi-fi, which is great with family travelling with older kids. It takes about two mimutes walk from the underground station, and there is a lotte department next door. The suites are spacious and have all comfort you can wish for. The staff is very helpful and everything is well arranged. Lots of coffee places and restaurants around as well as a Lotte department store next to it. Really good place to stay!. I stayed in a service apartment. The size was huge. Comfy style. The location has many different types of restaurant, Lotte supermarket and emart. Subway station just across the street. Lovely place. It's absolutely stunning. Spacious room with Modern- décor and high tech stuff. Everything was the way it should be!!!. Modern designed service apartment. Big room very modern facilitues. the size of the room is big. all was pleasant. I liked the large space suite , high technology setting for the apartment , pleasant and helpful staff , location near kunku university station. Nothing. nothing. The staff could have been a little more friendly. They were all very formal and the mostly male staff didn't smile. They looked liked 'men in black' . The high tech appliances took a while to figure out. The instructions provided were not helpful. I wouldn't say this was too much of a negative. Just was impressed with the innovative products available in Korea. We all had a laugh with the automatic heated toilet with built in bidet and dryer. Nothing I dislike so far. Not in the centre. Sound proof not very gud. No toothbrush and toothpaste provided. It is a bit far from the centre. Location is not ideal however the metro is basically next and it's easy to get to down town or Gangnam. No digital tv in our room limited our choices, no spare bed sheets were available for the sofa bed which meant one if our children had to sleep with us. A lot of drawers no ironing machine May be not good location if u want the center by walking Difficult to deal with the room facillity due to korean language But the staff ready to help. 11 stations by metro to City Hall, Gungnam is also far away by metro. Air conditioner was broken towards the end of my stay, not fixable and required to switch room. I saw a cockroach climbed out from the shower sewage. Most of the staff speak poor English so communication was not easy for non-Koreans. #0 min by Taxi to downtown Seoul. The charged KW20,000 per night for a pillow and a quilt!!! That was quite a disppointment. unfortunately the swimingpool was closed because of season . The English staff was not enough in reception. Slightly far from Myeodong area. The low water pressure in the shower & lack of English instructions esp for the temperature adjustment. Also it was a pity the swimming pool was not open. Everything was excellent. No complaints. No direct link to the subway although it's very near. A little bit off when it comes to sightseeing, on the other side of Seoul when it comes to transportation to and from the airport. The breakfast selections were not as big as we have come to be accustomed to at other hotels in Asia. Nothing. no kids activity no swimming pool a the time we came. most of the facility are in Korean can't understand, gym's not 24 hrs, breakfast closed too early. Nothing. I can't understand why 3 or 4 people could not stay in the one bedroom unit, as it was so big. It was a little inconvenient from the rest of the tourist attractions. Need to pay to use the pool . Cab service to airport is costly. You have to pay for spa!!!!. Staff needs to learn to smile. English translation should be placed next to each high-tech gadgets. The pool isn't working during winter))). Staff are very rigid and not willing to allow us to check in earlier than 3pm. they didn't give me one minute extra above 12:00 pm check out time. big NO came to me by the phone. Breakfast - not enough varied menu,. the only negative point is for their swimming pool which is not free of charge to use.

Children's breakfast is to be requested and to be paid on-site upon arrival. Usage of sauna, spa, indoor golf and fitness centre is limited to guests over 16 years of age due to safety reasons. Charges apply to the use of the outdoor swimming pool, sauna and spa. Sauna, spa and fitness facilities are closed on the second Wednesday of every month and during the duration of Lunar New Year's holidays and Korean thanksgiving holidays. Outdoor swimming pool is available for guest use from June to August only. This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties.
