A good quality hotel situated in an ideal and quiet position just off a main downtown street and within walking distance of the main downtown attractions. The price was not cheap but worth it for the location and I would use it again. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was not included but the hotel café was quite cheap for coffee and breakfast sandwiches, and just across the main road below and opposite the hotel you have a vast area of shops, snack-bars and restaurants of every.
all reviews » Visit Seoul! It's a modern, young, exciting and dynamic metropolis. Not cheap regards to htls and electronics, but reasonable prices for eating, bus,trains, taxi, subway. Free wifi everywhere in Seoul. Pacific htls: kind staff, especially the "luggage boy", free wifi,large modern and new bathroom, large beds, free water dispenser outside on the floor. Perfect and strategic location, just outside here is the subway, turn on the corner and you are in Myengdong street. On the other side you can "e. NL 2013 - Just next to the metro. When we walked towards the hotel the bellhop came to get our luggage without us having to ask for it. At the counter we could check in 3 hours earlier (big plus). Additional to this, we were given a deluxe room. Everything looked very nice. Good view, lots of space. All very very clean. Comfortable beds and pillow's. Smelled very nice in the room and even the teapot looked like new. Just very comfortable stay to get rid of our jetlag. Would definately recommen. The hotel is amazing.It is located just near the Myeongdong Railway Station.When you go out of the hotel,you will see the UNIQLO,the entrance of Myeongdong shopping district, just opposite the road.All employee can speak Japanese and English,no language problem.The room is excellent,when we get into the room,we were astonished. The service is appreciated too. While near enough to Myeongdong, it is strategically located just across the road so that you are not bothered by the hustle and bustle! And if you get a room facing Namsan, you do get a fantastic view of Seoul tower. Excellent location, close to the best shopping mall in South Korea, clean and modern, surprisingly the internet worked perfect unlike other large hotel chains, quiet yet close to everything, dunkin donuts, kfc, krispy cream, st arbucks, coffee bean, costa coffee and many other traditional at walking distance. Location, location and location in front of the hotel is myendong subway and shopping heaven. also gym and sauna for Male at affordable price. Worth the price especially after whole day visit. Foot and body massage just round the corner. also impressed with automatic toilet system. The hotel staff was friendly and efficient. The room and bathroom were clean. The location was perfect for DIY travelers. The hotel is very near fast food restos and cafés. We will choose Pacific Hotel again on our next visit to Seoul. We paid for the deluxe room without breakfast (4 nights about 460€ ) but our window faced on the dark courtyard! We have never seen a htl which have shampoo and shower products in the room, but they are not free, you have to paid for them! They provided for coffee or tea for just a morning without sugar nor cream nor spoon. We understand in Seoul the htl price depends from the location. Found it a bit strange that there were alot of other business at the lower level of the hotel. Water jug far from room Very dry air in the room. Humidifier in the room was too small to catch up. PC's at the lower level were slow and outdated and alot of spam installed on it. No printer. There is no reason for dissatisfaction. Not much facilities. Room size is a bit small especially for couple on long vacation with 3 luggage. None. Few little stains on the comforter. I've only stayed there for 3 nights. And so far, no complaints. Keep up the good work!. The breakfast is expensive and not good value...but it doesn't matter - there are lots of places nearby to get a good breakfast. Staff at front desk not particularly friendly or English-proficient. Training room small, with limited equipment. Spa and training room for men only. Fact that training wear and shoes provided not mentioned in advertising. Have to walk a while to the shuttle bus stop to the air port. Nothing. My wife was a bit sad that the spa is only for men. Shampoo and shower gel are not free of charge. breadfast are not included, it will charge 16000 korea won, and taste not good. The air conditioning did not work very well in our room. I did ask that it be looked at, but no one ever did. n/a. The shower will suddenly turn cold. My only feedback is the sliding door is too transparent. Defeats the purpose of having a door for privacy .. Otherwise, is good. Another thing, room should come with complimentary drinking water. Hotel bar is more like brothel but it is quite typical for Seoul. There's only one flaw in the room...the bathroom door gap to the floor is too big and the curb is not raise higher to prevent water from slashing out. Also it would be even better if the staff can speak fluent English. I could not find any fault with hotel everyone spoke English. bad air-conditioner,not provide shampoo & shower wash. They should include breakfast with the rooms with the same price. Sampoo and water were charged. First time I see it. The payment was paid without permission in credict card!!!that's very bad!!!. Nothing. A little out fashioned. that my wife and daughter could not use the Gym and its facilities--truly dissapointing. Well the air conditioner doesn't work, it is always set to heat. Maybe because the weather outside is cool. But it would be nice if you could adjust the aircon. Water pressure for shower too low. doesn't provide basic toiletries like toothbrush and paste, shampoo, need to buy from them .... for a supposedly 4star hotel, i find it ridiculous.... No breakfast served, limited English. Staff misinformed us regarding the room capacity. Room for 3 people means 2 single beds and one really bad, old, not-so-stable extra added bed. Wifi connection to the room was very poor. I need to go to the lobby to get online.
