I was a bit stressed due to Travel Agent error which found me without accom. The staff at The Best Western, even though not my first choice, exceeded my expectations in friendliness and fast efficient solving of my problem. Best Western will be hotel of choice on my next visit to Korea. When I checked in, they upgraded my room. Also, the staff was very professional. When I notified the front desk of stained linens, they corrected the issue with a smile.

I sat down with the General Manager of this hotel for about 30 minutes detailing the myriad problems with this hotel; and there we're many. From having to change rooms due to no air con; and further problem including stained carpet, 100 year old stained towels, underwhelming breakfast at $28 per person (which we did not have to pay) to no help with our large and multiple bags; and a smug . For European people, no good restaurant available out of the hotel, only hotel restaurant available. poor staff no regards for guests checking in and out. hotel restaurant was ok, but nothing really special. Such things as a toothbrush and two additional bottles of water that are included in the mini-bar should be free of charge. Need more TV channels in English. limited restaurant facilities. Carpets, seats and walls all stained. Needs a re-decoration. The receptionist's unhelpful manner when I asked if someone could help me with my 27kg bag as I also had to push a stroller with 15month with the other hand. She said their was no one! Meanwhile she and her colleague chatted away- incidentally there was no one behind me to check in. Ultimately helping to get to the lift would have been more than helpful but no!! No wifi in bedrooms. My room was not very clean and with a weak sound-proof from the noises come from other rooms/corridor. The general appearance of the corridor and rooms are closer to a 3 star hotel rather than a 4. Long period between shuttle buses. poor AC in the rooms.Poor internet conn. I found the hotel noisy late at night and the early hours. Also at 6 a.m there was no hot water and I had to have a cold shower - not good when you have 24 hours travelling in front of you. Somewhat outdated and not so clean carpets. Not comfortable chairs for business traveler. We booked and paid for a Premier double room with a upgraded modern décor and a bathtub. The room we were offered had neither. When I complained the staff tried to convince me we were mistaken in our description. Luckily, I had a printout so got reassigned to what I paid for. In my opinion this is crew hotel and so aircrew get preferential treatment to normal guests. Tobacco smoke infiltrated the non smoking room. Room was a bit old. Room was very dark and dirty, the beddings had a rancid smell. The bathroom was way too small and there was no shower door or curtain which meant that water was sprayed all over the bathroom. The internet was slow. The heating was much too strong, despite setting a very low temperature and could not be switched off completely. NO available power plugs in rooms !!! No solution at the front desk.. I had to go to a convenience store to find solutions.... This hotel is old fashioned. Most of equipment in the fitness center is not working. Absolutely not convenient for business travellers. I am really sorry I did not like this hotel at all . No wifi in the room at the age n time there was a kind of a step on the floor that was not marked. Never stayed at airport hotel before but at 140aud a night, we didnt have complimentary toothbrush. Requested a non-smoking room and was told at lobby we had a non-smoking room but the room reeked of cigarettes. Even the whole floor smelt awful. Lifts were slow and the card reader must have been old because it took us a couple tries to get into our room. Overall, a horrible experience considering how much I paid per night. Rather go back into Seoul for a better hotel. Room A/C was broken, temp. was 26...29 C, unpossible to sleep. Room. The air conditioner did not work properly and the lighting was poor with several lights that did not work. No aircondition on the rooms! The staff said they would send a guy to fix it, but admitted that it was useless since it was shut down. . . Also, the breakfast was at the best medium..... - definitive not at 4* level - for an airport hotel bus shuttle times to short in the evening - bar closed already before 23:30 - breakfast overpriced.
