Really liked this hotel ( but then we had been camping for the previous nights!) and we were lucky enough to get an upgrade to our room so it was massive. Other pluses included reasonably priced food, nice reception and, best of all, free access to Berenice Beach!. Very comfortable and the staff very kind and efficient. The hotel gave us a better room with view to the sea and the second day we found a basket of fresh fruit in the room. This was the best way to finish our trip in Jordan.
all reviews » Not at beach side but we dont need to be that luxury, for the price we paid the location is good enough, just 5-10mins walk to the beach. Really comfortable mattress! Public has free wi-fi. The staff were polite and very helpful. Breakfast was fabulous and the room was clean and very comfortable. They also have a shuttle bus to the beach which is fabulous. very clean , comfortable, location is great , family friendly , staff are so sweet and fast to get you any request, i like it a lot and sure i will come back there. Very near the city centre, public beach is also just a few minutes down the road. The rooms were nice and the breakfast buffet sumptuous. We had 3.35 in change but the hotel wouldn't accept it. However, they didn't have change for 5 so we had to go without! Thought this was a bit naughty - DoubleTree Hilton, you should really round DOWN for your customers and this did leave a bitter taste when we left... :(. Nothing we had a great time there. The X-ray machines at the entrance - we had to pass through it every time we left or entered the hotel. Also the arbitrary no food or drinks after 10pm rule, which was pointed out to us on an inconspicuously tiny sign - we had to eat our food outside. For some reason that wasn't made clear, we had to pay 1 JD at check-out, despite paying the full amount upon booking. The view over the car park from the pool. Maybe plant a few trees. Aquaba has little entertainment and is a sad seaside town. Avoid Aqaba. The view though my window can only see some poor cheap hotel and noise street. I never see any ocean view from my room which they claim on their website. Very disappoint me!. Smoking allowed in public areas. I had made reservation for 2 rooms for my family one month ago, when we appear, 9th of august 19 P.M, I find it too hard to give me the 2 rooms in the same flour, and I can't left small children with another floor, while the one who claimed to be the manager claimed that this this is the norms of reservation, at last they gave me 2 rooms in the second floor near the pool, that I did not dare to open any curtains all may stay. there were no private souna/swim pool,...etc for ladies. as a family, i will not go again to this hotel also, smoking were allowed in loby. Service Food. not a five 5 stars hotel.
