We enjoyed Sandy Haven Resort on our recent stay in Jamaica. The hotel was modern, clean and the staff is outstanding. The food is very good and the hotel is right on the beach. We would recommend this hotel if you are considering Negril as a destination. The rooms were large and beds very comfortable. Staff were brilliant, check-in very welcoming and beach bar staff fabulous. I liked that there was a security guard that looked after our private section of the Sandy Haven beach.

Friendly staff, Kayann and Ann-marie made us feel very welcome and at home.The food was good, very authentic Jamaica cuisine.Modern well appointed rooms. Already planning to go back. We arrived very late at night but everything was ready for us. We had a lovely junior suite, which was really spacious and comfy. We really enjoyed our stay and the staff were really helpful. Staff very friendly and courteous. Accommodation very clean & comfortable. Beach bar with attentive barperson. Beach loungers, umbrellas, swinging seat. The staff was amazing, loved Orlando and Pops: they provided good information about the resort made us feel comfortable and provided excellent service. One of the nicest part of the beach. Good lounge chairs. Very intimate setting / hotel. In the middle of 7mile beach, so easy to get everywhere. Really nice room with great view of the ocean. Love being right on the beach . Very friendly staff. Friendly staff...Paps was the BEST....love the guy. We loved the the staff service and hospitality. Sometimes too loud from parties in bars on the beach causing very interrupted sleep. The shower drainage in Room 217 could be improved, not the worst but the water does back up a bit. Friday night seems to be party night in Negril and the locals like the music VERY LOUD, so expect a night with little sleep. No fault of the hotel and it's something that will be experienced throughout the area. Nothing to dislike. Our bed wasn't that comfortable it was more hard than ever. The water pressure in our room(s) were low and weren't operating to its full capacity. We had to change rooms in order to get better water pressure which was an inconvenience. Gym has very limited facilities and most were out of order (October 2013). The bed was hard as a rock. Even though it was a lovely r room sleeping in the bed is more important and it needs some padding. At those prices it would be important to have a refrigerator in the room. I did not like that hotel was not occupied in the beginning of our stay, so this felt some what lonely.
