The hotel is perfectly situated for both the train station and bus station which are only minutes away on foot. Perfect for exploring the old town with plenty of places for eating out. Central location, clean and spacious family room, friendly and helpful staff.Really beautiful hotel, splendid decoration throughout, comfy bar area. The Hotel Continental is situated in an excellent location directly in front of the train station and 5 mins from the town centre. If you fancy mirrors in your room it is the place to be....It was right in the centre of Treviso. Staff were very accommodating. It is not modern or swish but it has a clean old world charm. The location is great, very near the train station ... you can see it from the front door. Nice hotel bar. Good location very close to Treviso station but otherwise pretty basic. Good showers.Good location, nice helpful staff. amount of time passports were kept at desk was told this was required by management upon checkin I don't feel it is safe for visitors from other countries we needed to leave the hotel with our daughter and did not get our passports back for hours. Only the guy outside with jackhammer every morning.. not their fault but roadworks going on.. A very poorly presented and not very nice buffet breakfast.Bar closed on Saturday as it was a public holiday. Early morning street noise. No internet.poor breakfast which was included in the price. Unpleasant aroma (sort of mouldy-manky) near the lifts in the foyer.Breakfast was a real let down. cold in room. The loading and unloading of the luggage from the car was a bit awkward on a relatively busy street. The hotel bar was closed during my stay at the hotel.Beds not the most comfortable. Slightly dated. Some renovation works were still going on (and made rooms looking very nice again). There were no showercurtains in the bathroom. The breakfast was quite poor. Ambitious breakfast but fruit unripe. Manner of some of the hotel staff - not very helpful. Bar was a bit understaffed, the one person did very well to keep up with such a large group of people. Not much information on where to get food, although probably could have asked more questions.We did not have a remote control for the air-conditioning in our room. It was after midnight and hot. After much searching, we eventually had to call downstairs to reception. The guy on the desk had to come up with the remote control and turn it on. He said each room had them in the past, but now there were only two in the entire hotel. A four-star hotel and only two such controls!. this is an old fashiioned hotel in need of updating although the bathroom was modern - bu the extractor did not work and although reported to staff nothing was done. It does not warrant 4 stars and does not match up to any of the 3 star hotels I have used in Italy recently. Breakfast was the biggest disappointment - no fruit in syrup - no eggs - no toast- no ham- no salami - no cheese slices. The Hotel is very dated. 40 years or more would be appropriate. The facilities and room was no way 4 star. We would say 3 at a push. The Staff were great..breakfast continental and basic but clean and fresh. Its a step back in time, example the Chinz box bedroom and "Casablanca" American Bar. Not to everyones liking for sure. breakfast was below average and the air conditioning was as antiquated as the hotel. i had to fiddle with it a lot to get it to work. The forniture..very very old.. dark rooms. The room was very small ... we asked to be moved and a day later they did. In general not bad, but somewhat tired. Staying in the old center would have been our choice had we known how lovely Treviso is .. it's like Venice, but cleaner and more quaint somehow .. Former grandeur. Current delapitation.This hotel has seen better days; the rooms were very tired, noisy and the shower was pathetic due both to its microscopic area which resulted in the dirty polyester show curtains clinging to ones body when showering - and I am am thin- and the varying temperature of the hot water.

- Follow signs for Treviso and/or the train station. The hotel is located opposite the station.

Treviso airport is 5 kilometres away from the hotel, a 10 minute taxi ride which cost around EUR 15. Alternatively, you can take the number 6 bus which leaves every 30 minutes and cost around EUR 1.50 each way.
