The apartment was very comfortable and clean. Antonino greeted us and guided us to the apartment's garage. He even gave us a lovely welcome gift of some local handmade pottery. The location is absolutely perfect -- right in the heart of Taormina -- so we could walk to all the sights very easily. We also had a decent view of the sea from our terrace (but not all of the apartments do). The parking is for an extra fee, but due to the small streets in the village, parking is difficult, so this.
all reviews » My wife and I stayed at the residence Degli Agrumi for 2 nights. It has an excellent location in the centre of town with the bonus of private, safe parking. Immaculate rooms - we had a lovely rooftop terrace from which we could glimpse the sea. Comfortable bed, kitchen facilities and washing machine. The owner was very accommodating in helping us find the B & B ( drove his car to our parking spot & we followed him) and providing us with information about the city & how to get to Mt. Lovely, well appointed, quiet apartment but in the centre of Taormina so near cafes, shops, squares - perfect location. Gorgeous views from the piazzas and gardens. Great food right on the doorstep.Garaging also available if you have a car as parking in this town is difficult because of the narrow streets so worthwhile having a safe garage on site. - spacious and very well-equipped apartments in a great location (2-3 min. walk to the main street) - parking availability (reservation required!) which is in a city like Taormina (where finding a place in the old part is almost impossible) is very convenient - very nice and helpful owner, who welcomed us with a bottle of wine and a small gift. The location was very good - a few minutes from the centre, but there were no problems with noise. The appartment was well appointed, clean and the air conditioning was excellent. The washing machine, while a lovely feature, was filled with old water and mold. It's stored tidily under the kitchen counter, but that does not make it easy to air it out, hence the mold. The narrow spiral staircase to our appartment wasn't a problem for us, but it would be for some. It would have been nice if washing up liquid and similar basics were supplied. Definitely need to ring ahead and advise arrival time as reception is a shop front that doesn't open regular hours. Parking is tight and it may be better to use the public car parking at the edge of the town. Very "touristy" with 1 or 2 cruise liners in every day. Very difficult to get there by car.
