Since 1958, Hotel Ca' Serena is a comfortable and quiet family-run hotel, situated directly on Lake Garda shores, close to the Spa of Sirmione. Recently the manager has completely renovated it, in order to welcome his guests better then ever. The Ca' Serena is also provided with private parking. Public parking spaces can be found 100 metres away. The rooms at Hotel Ca' Serena are simply decorated and are provided with their own bathroom, telephone and TV with satellite channels. Some of the rooms have a balcony. Breakfast is served in a bright dining room. A large terrace with a lake view provides unique relaxing moments. Step out of Hotel Ca' Serena and you will find a beautiful public beach, where you can practice windsurfing, pedal boat, water skiing and other activities. Your kids can choose between many attractions. The area surrounding Hotel Ca' Serena offers many historical and cultural sites and, of course, nice shops and good restaurants.

Close to the public beach. Almost new rooms (in second building). Very nice and friendly stuff, who offered the free and tasty coffee everytime we walked by. Good breakfast (don't forget to ask for scrumbled eggs). Not so far from the Sirmione center (less than 5 minutes on a car). In room there were two additional beds-transformers. Aircon was not the cheapest panasonic inverter in very good working condition (it was critical due to hot weather outside).
all reviews » The hotel is right on the lake. They have a very nice terrace where you can sit and watch the world go by. The rooms are small but clean and functional. Some have a balcony overlooking the lake. The staff is very nice and helpful. Breakfast was included and very good (they will bring you eggs cooked how you want and cappuccino). They had free parking too which is nice. Very kind and friendly staff. Clean room. Close to the Sirmione historical center, also close to the main roads. Quiet. Bars, shops, markets are close. Very good to be a "base" for historical-, cirty-, mountain-, extrem tours. Close bars for relaxed wine drinking and italian foods !. Excellent hotel! It is right on the shore of the beautifull lake Garda. 20min. drive from the Gardaland. Simple And heartfelt staff. They help you on every single step. We would come there again. The staff were amazing. they were so attentive and when our daughter became sick they went beyond the call to arrange a house call. The public beach is not good at all. We left a half-full bottle of water on the ground for five minutes right on our shoes, while we were swimming in the lake. In a few minutes we saw that one italian guy took it, drinks and gave it to his daughter and just walks away. Strange feeling. Anyway the hotel was very good. It is a bit of walk to the old downtown, but not an unpleasant walk. Other than that, we liked everything about it. For breakfast there were no vegetables ( tomato, paprika, etc... ). Room a bit too small. The fact that staff were only knowledgeable about local bus times and were not able to supply us with bus times for travelling on east and west side of Lake Garda. Quite a walk into Sirmione but we hired the bikes and much better. Could have done with one or two armchairs in our room as we had no balcony. 30 min from the center (walk). Could hear everything from the room next door. Whilst the hotel is very clean, it is also quite dated, my wife and i struggled to sleep, walls are paper thin and every noise was heard. The breakfast was esceptionally basic and quite cramped in the morning, we both felt a much better selection could have been offered like fruit salad etc. Compared to other 4 star hotels that offered the same price i feel the hotel was over priced for a 3 star property and was more a 2 star property. My wife and i stay frequently in hotels in Italy. The breakfast was very basic. The room was too small with not enough closet space and you could hear a lot of noise created by the other guests. It was quite a long walk from town after a day's exploration. Too basic rooms. Poor breakfast.
