We absolutely loved our stay at Casa di Pam, very good location to the centre of Scicli and the bus station, Pamela was an excellent hostess, she was very helpful in finding buses to the beach and we had amazing breakfast; delicious cake and bread, cheese and ham, yoghurts and cereals. Our room was spacious and nicely decorated, with a fridge and tv. Scicli is yet rather untouched by tourism and is SUCH a beautiful town, and amazingly well connected by bus; we were only there for two nights and.
all reviews » Pam takes great trouble to make one feel welcome. The room was large, modern with an excellent ensuite. Breakfast was a 'yummy' continental with home made cake and jams and fresh rolls/bread daily with plenty of coffee and juice. Casa di Pam is an excellent value b&b maybe a little difficult to find without a SatNav but all visitors were very happy and we are booked to return in August!!. Scili is a really nice town, and Casa di Pam is a very good base for visiting it. Friendly, comfortable, great breakfast, just a couple of minutes walk from the centre and the famous town hall (aka Vigata police station). We had a nice double on the too floor with a small but charming terrace - it was like being at home in a pleasant Sicilian small town. The roof top room with cooking facilities & terrace was great,we stayed for 2 nights and didn`t feel the need to go out for dinner we shopped at the local fish market and cooked it out on the terrace and had a wonderful time watching the world go by.I would recommend Casa Di Pam to anybody - thanks for a memorable stay. Nicely finished room under the roof with small balcony and beautiful view of a typical italian city centre. Location close to center with bars, restaurants, churches and palazzi. Excellent breakfast, Staff very helpful. Pam is a very helpful person, this is a real B&B so do not expect more. Room clean and comfortable with a mini-terrace. Location very close to the centro storico. Breakfast was also very good. Location - only a short walk from the centre of one of the most interesting towns in Sicily. Good value - air con available - reasonable continental breakfast. Highly recommended. Pam and family were very friendly. Probably the best place to stay in Scicly. Parking a car overnight quite a challenge but Pam very helpful at finding the local parking spots. In the city center. Quiet place (no street noises in the room). Very good breakfast. The room is OK and has a balcony. Very closed to the old city. The staff was really kind and helpfull and the location was close to all the places we wanted to visit. Previous stay when owner Pam there good. Wifi was a little slow. Nothing! . Not having a lift is a bit cumbersome with luggage although Pam offers help. There was no mini fridge in the room we were staying. Wifi signal doesn't reach top level area. No parkingplaces for guests and difficult to find parkingplace nearby. The breakfast should be improved. During summer this B&B is probably great place to stay, but it should not operate during the winter. The room was really humid and you could smell the mold as soon as you opened the door. I slept with my winterjacket on, as the bed was so profoundly cold and moist because of the humidity. I expected a lot more of the breakfast because of the previous comments on letsbookhotel.com, but it was just really nothing special. Owner Pam away. Despite notifying arrival time closed when arrived/no one available at B&B or on phone - had to find alternative accommodation for first booked night. Refunded less than half cost.
