my friend and i have just arrived back from our stay in sardinia. we spent three nights at hotel mare pineta and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. the staff were very friendly, helpful and courteous. the food was tasty and plentiful and we enjoyed it except for the main course on the first night which wasn't the best.
the beach is peaceful by hotel mare pineta and perfect for relaxation. it was nice to be able to wander down to the hotel flamingo though if we wanted a mojito too : ).

Value for money!! I was actually moved next door to their sister hotel
Flamingo when I arrived which is a slightly larger hotel. Location is
great only 30-45 mins from Cagliari airport; 10-15 mins drive to Pula
town and on the beach, as well as only a 15 min drive to nearby beaches
of Chia. You need a car for sure to get around but the hotel is on the
beach and has a large well located swimming pool so you are comfortable
to stay there also, though you will want to explore more beautiful
parts .
It was good to have the link to the sister hotel, Hotel Flamingo which had more facilities. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were great.

Reception for check out is located in another hotel (~1km by car). Restaurant reminds a bit of a university cafeteria. Internet only in the lobby. Value for money (we paid 171€/room with breakfast) was not good.
