Barbara and her Dad were excellent hosts, friendly, warm, welcoming, helpful. The room was cleaned daily, it was spacious with lovely balcony and great views. Breakfast location has a balcony with great views, as was the very generous selection of breakfast treats. About 15 mins walk to town, down hill with steps no problem; Would recommend internal Positano bus service for return journeys. Would love to return.
all reviews » A lovely family run buisness with great service! Leo the owner is a fantastic guy and really made our stay memorable and personal! Views of positano from here is amazing and the centre is only a 15 minute walk (or you can get a bus directly opposite the hotel every half an hour) The rooms were clean and tidy and breakfast was simple yet lovely (with fresh fruits, bread,yogurt). The view from our comfortable quiet room to the sea was fantastic. Parking our car was easy. We stayed three nights and never moved our car. The owner of the hotel was very helpful explaining the bus system and once we learned how to use it, we found it easy to get into Positano and also to the starts of walks along the many trails on and above the coast. The Stuff very kindly and helpful, from the enter on the hotel there is a bus to positano and back. Very comfortable if you traveling with car, it is in the middle of the amalfi coast. The parking is difficult in all amalfi coast, but the stuff concerned to get get you parking on every time of the day. The rooms clean. This is a family run hotel outside of the main Positano tourist area, about a 20 minute walk on a busy road to the beach. The family was very friendly and helpful with information about the area. The room was very clean and well appointed. The beginning of the Path of the Gods was a short bus ride away. great hotel, with great rooms, big, clean and an amazing view. very friendly and helpfull staff. its not in the city center (15 minutes walk to the center and the beach) but since positano is a lovely small town, its was acually better for us, to get away from de crowds of turists. The room was a good size. Location very good to visit Positano (bus stops at door) and breakfast was good (better than most pensiones in Italy). Also had parking available. The owner was very helpful with a good attitude. The place had a beautiful view. Bus stop was close, easy to find and the luggage elevator made it much easier to get our bags down to the room. Best part... FREE parking!. Great views on Positano and the coast. There is no restaurant near the hotel so getting to dinner involved a 30 minute walk into town or a shuttle to a restaurant up the hill--both doable, but you have to plan ahead. The bed linens should be updated. There is no air conditioner in the room, it may be problem to travel in the hot summer day. In the beginning of September it was nice in the evenings (during the day we didn't stay at the hotel). The hotel restaurant was closed during the off season, and a bus ride or long walk was required for meals other than breakfast. Wifi was only available in the rooms. A little far up from the beach, but I liked it (because I like the walk and climb). fan but no air conditioning. The stairs we had to climb each morning.
