The view is amazing and the breakfast was delicious. I loved the locally produced sun dried tomatoes, local pastries, honey and the coffee was rich, strong and brewed just for me. Our children loved the animals, dogs and cats roaming about, the hammock, the gardens. One could easily sit on the terrace for hours admiring the view or sit at breakfast for hours sampling all the local offers, taking in the view and just relaxing. Very pleasant and helpful hosts and a calm easy place to stay.
all reviews » Great b&b with a fantastic breakfast that encompasses many local delicacies. It's outside town so very quite, although this can be a problem if you do not have your own car. We didn't but the staff were fantastic providing us with transfers (without expecting recompense!). Maria Grazia is a registered guide and very knowledgeable, worth booking for the Roman villa. Very friendly b&b! Room was a bit cramped with four of us, but it was fine for only the one night. Great view from the terrace. Owner recommended a local restaurant for dinner which had excellent pizzas. Breakfast in the morning was wonderful, lots of choice and fun to eat with the other guests around the big table. Great breakfast featuring local specialties; unequalled view across valley to Duomo of Piazza Armerina, especially in evening light; owner is an excellent guide for the mosaics at Roman Villa of Casale (fluent German, passable English). The welcoming by staff. The terrace and the wiew on the village: gorgeous! The gardens with fruit trees around the house. The breakfast with only local products (fruits, cheese, home made cakes...). It is the best Bed & Breakfast we've ever been to. The hosts are welcoming, the place is beautiful, the view is astonishing ... and the breakfast is magic. Bravo. Grand souvenir. Location, view. My husband and I had a pillow problem all over Sicily. We prefer slightly fluffier pillows than were on offer at any of the B&B's we stayed at. Really our only complaint. Piazza Armerina is not well served with public transport. Only one breakfast per day. A little difficult to find upon arrival by car at Piazza Armerina. Hard to find - the gps had us drive around in circles in Piazza Armerina. That I did´nt stay longer. it is located some way out of town which may not be convenient for some people. it is possible to walk, although not that pleasant. Bit hard to find. Need GPS/Waze to find the place. Not as comfortable as it should have been; too expensive for what it is. Too expensive for a B & B.
