Tre Sorelle is a traditional historic building with a massive door in the wall facing the street. We arrived in the dark by taxi whose driver needed help to find it. We had phoned ahead and were met by a staff member who showed us to our room off the inner courtyard and gave us a restaurant recommendation left for us by the owner. We had language problems since our Italian is poor so the young man phoned the owner who speaks excellent English - she returned to ensure we understood the route we.

We arrived late at night at the airport in Bari (3h delay) and the owner immediately arranged for us to be picked up and brought to the place (the rental car office closed at 10 pm). 2. The architecture of the place is outstanding and the fittings are par to any 5-star hotel. 3. The owner is very nice and helps make the stay unforgettable. Friendly staff, really nice people, great room, close to the airport. We arrived after 11pm and the lady sent us to a very nice restaurant after asking them to wait for us. In the morning we asked for a late check up. When we wanted to leave they offered us the breakfast despite of the fact that it was 12pm. They have a very nice garden. A chic Palazzo with spotless , spacious and stylish rooms and a gracious host. The building looks old and not renovated from outside, but inside it is very nice. Such beautiful accommodation deserves to be sign posted en route from the airport , making it easier for travellers especially in the dark. No complaints whatsoever. Very quiet area of Bari but with few shopping or dining options. 10 min-1 euro train ride into Bari Centrale each way and fairly frequent. It was a bit tricky to find by car. The railway crossing is busy and we did know know of alternative routes. If its your first visit you might get concerned but if you just wait 15 minutes, eventually you get through. It is worth the wait. Nothing.
