It was a great experience. The staff speaks just enough English to be able to understand each other, the family that runs the business was super friendly, welcoming and helfpul in any way they could. They offered us an amazing breakfast next morning. The place is great for relaxing away from city noise. There is not much going on there but there is a lot of nature, great views and wonderful wine.
all reviews » Very relaxing place. Clean and well mantained. We liked the extensive use of plants and flowers as decorations. The staff is great, kind and ready. They also offer on demand lunch and dinner, all made of fresh ingredients usually grown on site (vegetables). The Breakfast is awesome as they offer handmade pastries!!. the silence - while laying by the poolside one can really forget that there's a real world out there. Whole place is beautiful, also you can tell owners have seen some nice hotels - everything is 4-stars-hotel-like. Still - some old furnitures will let you feal some true Tuscany ;). I really enjoyed hanging out by the pool by day and eating dinner there at night. We didn't want to have to drive and it was nice to have that option. The friendly, helpful and relaxed attitude of the staff made our one night stay very enjoyable after a long day travelling from Cornwall, UK. The staff was friendly. The grounds were nice along with the pool. Breakfast was good as well. Homemade baked goods were very nice. We enjoyed our stay with our 1 1/2 year old. The staff is very friendly and speaks some English. The dinner was amazing!. Very friendly host Family, but they could benefit from upgrading knowledge of English. Location fantastic, spent a lovely morning in the swimming pool with my daughter. The road to Campiglioni is a little rough and uneven, but this is not Campiglioni's fault and it is clearly stated. breakfasts coul'd be better, still it's not like you're gonna starve to death ;). Nothing. The rooms were cleaned but items were not restocked, such as soap and shampoo. Also didn't seem as if the rooms were swept or vacuumed. I wish the windows had screens so that we could have left the windows open for a breeze. This Place lies about 1 km from the main road. which means a long drive on dirt road. Their price Level is higher than other similar Places we stayed at in Tuscany. Not so easy to reach with the GPS since the unpaved road is not present.
