This is a B&B inside the historic town of Montepulciano. It has been remodeled in a modern style and is owned by Francesca who also owns the restaurant Trattoria di Cagnano and the B&B Meuble Evoe. The B&B has some reserved parking spots in a parking lot inside the town which can be reached via narrow streets. Good directions are a must. Luggage then has to be carried uphill a considerable distance. It might be better to drive into the historic center (no ztl cameras) and park brief.
all reviews » Spacious and comfortable apartment for our family. We even had a kitchen and little garden. Storage space for luggage and daily servicing. Their restaurant was a fair way up the hill but excellent. The staff were very helpful and supplied the extra things we requested for our stay (eg extra bowls, glasses, fix air-con etc). The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We called before checking in and they met us to direct us to parking and helped us up the hill with our luggage. Premises were clean and looked better than photos on website. Very roomy accommodations and well-located. Fantastic hotel! Love the location where it's situated and it's very safe. Hotel very nicely decorated too. Staff very friendly and helpful. One of the staff gave me a flask of hot water when I ask for it. Breakfast is good too for 5€. Will Definitely go back again!. Overall good impression of the hotel overweight all existing minuses. Franchesca, a member of the owner's family was of enormous help. We needed to depart on a Sunday and there are no Sunday buses. Internet speed is ok (about 5 Mbps), but coverage in room is very weak. There was a big hill to carry up all the luggage. Montepulciano shuts down rather early in the evening. Lots of hill climbing but that is to be expected in all hill towns. WiFi in the hotel was very poor and slow. But you can use WiFi in the restaurant were breakfast is and in the city center. Rooms with windows on the main street are quite noisy at night. Hard to get to the hotel by car - you should call reception first so they meet you and help with parking. It is very difficult to find anyone in Montepulciano who speaks English. And it is very difficult to fine one's way around. No reception at B&B location, intercom connects to restaurant and someone comes over to check you in. Restaurant is 8-10 walk minute from B&B so requires a wait and can be confusing. Free parking can only be located with map and instructions, but it is close. Breakfast cost 5 Euros per person, but well worth it. The ac was not working well and checking in at a different location was a bit tricky with a vehicle. Since it was a third floor apartment it was very hot. Unfortunately, the air conditioning did not work very well so we were a bit uncomfortable. The windows did not provide any relief based on their location in the apartment. Had to call for check in, but he came within 5 minutes. Shower is a hose in a tub, not a fixed showerhead. The glass doors are not flush with the bath and the water floods all over the bathroom. No one in lobby to check in with. Had I not been let in by 2 other Americans the gate was locked and I wouldn't have been able to read sign to walk with my luggage up the hill to restaurant to check in. No english speaking staff. The kitchen wasnt well equipt. that the check-in is in different location, but we knew that already so we didn't matter much. Not one English language TV station was available. Wifi does not work in the room. Also, check-in process was not smooth. Came in at 4pm but was told that we couldn't check in until after 6pm. check-in office is far from the hotel. The climb up to the town from the reserved car park space (difficult with cases).
