Our host Sylvia was very welcoming and when we got lost driving into Matera she came to get us in her car. The room was large with tasteful furnishings, two big windows and an elegant bathroom. The location was excellent and being behind a church with a large tower was easy to find from anywhere in the town. We were able to use the printer to get maps for our onward journey, Sylvia and her sister Eleonora were more than helpful. Breakfast was served in a communal kitchen area which was also ava.
